My Experience

Worked with several families over the past 5 years, with children aged 3 to 14 years old.

I occasionally care for a child aged 11 with ADHD and a 9 years old, with an autism disorder.

some of my duties include
-using non-verbal strategies to communicate with the child
-taking him to a nearby park
-sensory crafts
-physical care duties
-providing meals

My duties in the past included:

-providing meals
-walking them home from school
-activities
-taking them to local outings such as the library
-homework assistance
-reading stories
-offering reports on the child's day

In addition, I have worked with children and young adults on a one to one, with a variety of learning disabilities such as autism, challenging behavior, down syndrome, and cerebral palsy, in various learning environments whilst ensuring their safety.

I have worked in Nurseries, Special Needs/ Mainstream Schools, Children Centres and I am continuing to develop my experience.

Due to start a Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care Studies online.

• Nannying from £10.00 per hour (gross)
