I have been married for 26 years, to Clive and we have three children, age 23, 20 & 16yrs. We have lived in Hyde Heath all this time, and really enjoy being in such a small friendly village with a park five minutes up the road and the woods just down the road.
As a mum I enjoyed being at home with our children and would attend mother and toddler groups, music sessions, cooking with the children and doing lots of arts and crafts which they enjoyed. We spent lots of time outside in the garden, growing fruit and vegetables, at the park and in the nearby woods. I enjoyed watching them learn and develop and to achieve new things.
We can offer a home from home loving safe and caring environment for your children to come and play, and by exploring new surroundings, and having different adventures, will develop their own natural instincts in learning. We will encourage them to develop in all of the seven areas of development and follow the guidelines set out in the EYFS.
We attend local mother and toddler groups, do lots of arts and crafts, cooking with the children, soft play, messy play. inside and outside activities as well as visiting local parks, woodland walks and the library. We have a garden with lots of play space, ride on toys, sand pit, water play, kitchen,play house, trampoline etc.
We provide snacks and an evening nutritious well balanced meal, it helps that I'm a qualified chef, and encourage children to eat healthy. We have a fun foods list where we try new things. Water and milk are available to drink through out the day.
We look forward to and will cherish our time with your children giving them lots of opportunity to explore new things and create happy memories. We will follow the EYFS and give your children a learning platform to build on in their future learning and education. We will encourage them to become independent individuals and let them develop in their own time,through discovering and playing following their own interests.
Being a husband and wife team we can also offer your children the chance to be cared for by both female and male careers.
My Experience
I/we have three of our own children so have hands on experience with birth to 15 years.
We registered as childminders in July 2015
I am used to creating healthy, nutritious home cooked food.
For the younger children we have plenty of toys inside and outside to play with.
For the older children we have a range of toys and games to keep them entertained.

My Availability
Childcare available for Birth to 16yr olds
We provide childcare for early years children aged birth - 4yrs
Monday to Thursday 7am - 6pm all year
Friday 7.30 - 3pm term time
We provide childcare for children in reception to year 6
Monday - Thursday before school 7am - 9am and after school 3pm - 6pm
Friday before school 7.30am - 9am

We are able to offer term time only contracts, as well as all year round contracts

My daughter started with Jackie and Clive in January. She settled very quickly and loves being there-l sometimes whether she loves it more than being at home! There are frequent visits to the park, woods and soft-play and she often brings home crafts that she has done. My daughter was at a nursery previously, but I feel like she is thriving with the personal touch of Jackie and Clive!

My daughter has been with Jackie and Clive since February, they are very accommodating and we’re able to accommodate my daughter last minute, and she settled in so quickly I couldn’t believe it.
They are very caring, have a lovely home and do great activities with the children - my daughter brings home some lovely crafts. I would highly recommend Jackie and Clive

My children have been in Jackie’s care since September 2016.
Jackie and her husband Clive (also a registered childminder) are professional, warm, caring, supportive and accommodating.
My children who are now 11 & 8 have always been happy and loved whilst with Jackie and Clive. Their house is large and open with a large variety and choice of games, toys and space to allow their creativity to go wild and there is a great mix of ages and genders to ensure children have someone to play with.
I cannot say enough good things about the childcare Jackie and Clive have given to us as a family over the last 18 months.
