My Requirements

After school helper highly experienced with children required Monday-Friday  (term time only) to collect 10yr old boy and 6 year old girl from school in Temple Fortune NW11 and bring home to Golders Green. Car driver desirable but not essential, otherwise would involve two short bus rides.

Hours: Mon: 3.20-5.50pm, Tues: 3.20-5.50pm, Weds: 3.20-6.20pm, Thurs: 3.20-5.20pm, Fri: 4.00- 6.00pm 

(Times may change slightly depending on after-school activities. Might be able to offer occasional holiday work). 

Involves playing, helping with homework, and preparing a meal. Our son is on the autistic spectrum but communicates well and is very capable so preferably looking for someone with some experience/ knowledge in this area or with SEN children otherwise a willingness to learn. We require someone IT literate, creative, energetic, gentle but firm when necessary and patient. Ability to cook to a basic level is desirable (though nothing too advanced). Fluent English required.

Would suit someone fairly local as punctuality and a high level of reliability is essential. Two references required, one of which must be from a recent previous role looking after  children. Initially for the first few weeks £15 per hour when looking after my son and £17 per hour when looking after both children on Mondays and Fridays. Thereafter £17 per hour when sole charge of both.

Starting early Sept '24. Ideally looking for a commitment until the end of the academic year (July 2025).
