About Me
I have been a childminder since 2015. I have two fantastic sons, born 2005 and 2007. I love looking after the children and offer a home from home setting and the children become a part of my family. My home is warm and inviting and the children are in a safe, fun and caring environment. From September 2021 my husband will be joining me as my assistant. He has his paediatric first aid training, is DBS checked and Ofsted approved. We have recently extended the downstairs living area which has given us more room for the children to play, grow and learn. We have a wonderful outside area which we will use daily. We visit various parks, go for walks by the river and in the woods. We often meet with other childminders which allows the children to socialise more and become confident when meeting someone new, grow friendships and learn more about different cultures.
My Experience
I have worked for two years in a playgroup for children aged 2-4 years where I got my childcare qualification, Level 3 Diploma Children and young people's workforce. I then worked for two years in a primary school as a Learning Support Assistant. During my time working with children I have worked with children of different abilities from Aspergers, autism, ADHD, ODD, global delay and select mutism. I feel I have a lot of experience that will help when dealing with challenging behaviours or needs. I really enjoy working with children and will strive to ensure your child has access to a variety of activities and experiences. Come rain or shine, I will ensure we go out daily.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 diploma for children's and young people's workforce. I also have my paediatric first aid training.

We have had the absolute privilege of having both of our children cared for by Tracy and Matt. The setting is fantastic and they have always been so accommodating and flexible. Both children have loved going there and were so happy at drop off each day. As my husband and I are both teachers it was fantastic to see all the wonderful things they got up to on the baby’s day app and the wonderful crafts that they brought home in celebration of key events and holidays are well treasured. The opportunity to spend lots of time outdoors and meeting children from other settings was much appreciated by us. Tracy and Matt welcomed both of our children into their family, it has been such a nurturing environment for them that it made going back to work so much easier for me as I could see how happy and well cared for they were each day. Without a doubt the best decision we ever made and we feel so grateful that our children were looked after by them at such pivotal points in their lives. Would highly recommend without reservation.

Our daughter started with Tracy and Matt just after her first birthday, having never been away from us for any longer than 2 hours, typically quite reserved and at a time of high separation anxiety. She found the adjustment hard at first, probably not helped by my own separation anxiety, but Tracy and Matt went above and beyond to respond to all of our needs and worked really closely with us to come up with ideas that would make the adjustment for our daughter easier. And in no time she was not only settled, but beyond excited to go back and see them every day. She was made to feel like part of the family and it was clear she really felt that - happy, calm and confident.
Tracy and Matt are really positive and proactive and this shows in everything they do. Our daughter is a very early talker (and also loves horses) and Tracy & Matt have really encouraged and supported this, through song and dance, counting, reading books, walks to see the horses and lots of general fun chats while out and about. And they’ve taken the time to really get to know her as an individual - what her favourite things are, what she doesn’t like, her sense of humour - going beyond our expectations and giving us complete confidence in her being in the right place.
We’ve really enjoyed receiving all of the fun arts and crafty bits our daughter has made in their care too, and the app updates and information has been really helpful for staying informed on our daughter’s day.
We’re delighted we found Tracy and Matt and can’t recommend them highly enough!

I cannot recommend Tracy & Matt enough. This was our first time looking for childcare and we were stressed. My daughter was only 10 months old when I went back to work and we knew we wanted a warm, home from home environment.
Tracy actually found me through this site and oh my god am I glad she did! As soon as we went to see them we knew we’d struck gold. She and Matt are perfect!
Our daughter absolutely adores them and there’s no question they love her like one of their own. She is so happy to get there in the morning and has developed so beautifully in her time with them.
She gets out and about every day, meets lots of other children and has so much fun. The updates on the Baby’s Day app are always so good and I love seeing what she’s been up to.
Handing your baby over to someone new is so daunting but we couldn’t have had a better experience!

Our son started at Tracy and Matt’s when he was 7months so finding a childminder felt really daunting.
We made one visit to see their setting and left knowing that we should choose Tracy and Matt. We were really comforted by the empathy and connection that they have with the children and our son has loved every minute of his time there.
They spend lots of time outside, socialise with other childminders or play groups and with all the crafts and play we feel our son has developed really well.
It’s a very welcoming environment for all the children and we would recommend Tracy and Matt without hesitation. All of the other glowing reviews are well deserved.

We couldn't have been happier with Tracy and Matt. Our daughter was only there for 2 months and it was two months full of change for our little one (house move, change of chilldcare, covid), but, somehow she settled immediately in their home. The children get to go for lots of walks to the park, plays at the community centre, get visits from other childminders & children -- it's wonderfully engaging and social in the most caring way while us parents get to be kept up-to-date every day with daily notes and photographs. We highly recommend Tracy & Matt - we wish we could've kept our daughter there for longer!

We feel extremely lucky that our daughter has been cared for by Tracy and Matt for over 2 years now. They have a very child-centred approach and really took the time to get to know her.
Our daughter adores them and feels safe and secure in their warm and calm home-from-home provision. She sees them as extended family and we trust them entirely. Communication is brilliant and we are kept up to date through an app which has been fantastic.
The kids go out every day in all weathers, are provided with a range of fun activities and get to know other children when they meet up with other childminders. The kids are offered a great range of home-cooked food and encouraged to be independent with their self care skills.
We would recommend Tracy and Matt to anyone!

Tracy and Matt have been an absolute godsend, they came recommended to us by our next door neighbour who is a teacher so we were so extremely thankful to get a place. For our daughter it’s like a like home from home with an extended family that she absolutely adores. For us it’s fantastic for our daughter to be spending so much time in a family setting much like our own; caring, safe, reliable and fun. Going back to work and leaving your little one is really hard but Rose loved it from day one so we didn’t have to worry at all. Like our house it’s also fantastic that Matt is around to help out too, so our daughter is raised knowing the importance of all members of a family contributing to raising a child. Tracy is super knowledgable about child development and their setting is so lovely, it’s nice going to work and not having to worry! We really can’t recommend Tracy and Matt enough.

Tracy has been looking after our little boy since he was 8 months old and we were so lucky to have her in our life for over 2 years. It was with a heavy heart that we had to say our good bye when we moved area.
From a very first time we met Tracy, I had that “I can trust her” feeling. She made my return to work as easy as it ever could have been and we would have been lost without her. Tracy is professional, caring and loving childminder that puts kids well-being and development first. She treats them like a family and you can feel it straight away. Everyday they were out for some exciting new adventures, activities, play’s. Our son had lots of fun and enjoyed his time in her care. She is flexible and accommodating with nothing too much of a problem for her. She definitely goes above and beyond! Now, that I have experienced other childcare options, I can say with an absolute certainty, that Tracy is a godsend. She is just another level to everyone else. Our little boy and us are missing her dearly and her leaving gift to our boy – customised book with his name – is still our favorite at the bed time. Thank you so much Tracy for all that you have done for us. We love you.

Tracy was our first childminder. Our daughter went to her from the age of 4 and half months to 2 and a half until we moved area. It was very difficult saying goodbye to her. She made it so easy when I went back to work and our daughter absolutely adores her. The setting is calm, clean and safe. There is so much for the children to do indoors and out. Tracy has a beautiful garden and home and takes the children to lots of activities and outdoor spaces locally. She also does wonderful arts and crafts with the children.
Our daughter flourished in her care. She felt part of the family and her boys treated her like a little sister. Tracy is professional, kind and caring. She is excellent at her job and she always kept me informed during the day of what our daughter was up to and if she was concerned about anything.
Tracy is an excellent childminder and I can not rate her highly enough.
