I am passionate about providing a safe, loving and stimulating environment for the children I care for, and endeavour to provide a mix of indoor and outdoor activities (e.g. craft, playground, walking ) every day.
All the meals I make are cooked from scratch using fresh ingredients and I'm happy to cook evenings meals for the family as request.
My approach is flexible and I am committed to working with the parents to ensure that my approach fulfils their requirements and the needs of the children.
I am Ofsted Registered and fully insured, and fluent in both Italian and English.

My Experience
I've worked for a family of 3 children for 8 years. My role was take care of nursery duties and insure the children were well looked after, organised activities and prepare meals from fresh ingredients. Currently I'm working for a family with 2 sets of twins respectively 3y and 4y. Sadly this role comes to and end in March. The family are relocating abroad.
I've worked as a Playground Supervisor where my children went to school and also worked in an After School Kids Club for four years. Then I worked in a day nursery for a few years with aged children 1 and 4. My daily routine can vary depending on needs of the family but generally consists of getting the children ready for school, looking after the children/baby and socialising with other mums or nannies with the same age children. I also do cleaning, tidying up , helping with homework, cooking supper and giving them a bath.

First aid trainer
level 2 in childcare and I'm registered with Ofsted.

Maddalena is currently our nanny. She is looking after 4 children between age 3 to 5.
Maddalena has settled in quickly, the kids have immediately warmed to her and I can only highly recommend her to any family. I have never come across a nanny with such a great sense for her duty of care and can only highly commend her cooking skills and understanding of wholesome nutrition for children. Not a single meal stays untouched! We will be sad to part with Maddalena when we move abroad later this year and wish we could take her with us.
