Hi I am a Nanny.I have always loved looking after children, firstly at the age of 12 going for walks with a Pram and then babysitting as a teenager. I am a mum of two adult children one working as gym instructor/personnel trainer and the other is a qualified PE teacher. I keep fit by swimming in a pool and wild swimming,and love walking. I have previously been a foster carer for Edinburgh City Council for 6 years looking after babies and young children. I was previously a Nanny before I had my own children, I have a clean driving licence. I stay in the Clermiston area of Edinburgh, I am registered with the Scottish Care inspectorate and am fully insured.
My Experience
I have been looking after children from the age of 12 taking them for walks and Babysitting when older,. I worked as a nanny until I had my own children. I have been working as a foster carer for the last 6 years which I have now given up, mainly looking after newborn babies from hospital until they return home or are adopted which can be as long as 3 years, and sometimes restbite for older children. I have a paediatric first aid certificate. and I do regular training workshops through Edinburgh city council, ie vulnerable babies, child play . child health. Gross and fine motor skills, raising confidence in children, babies minds matter. etc
My Qualifications
Hi I have years of experience as a Nanny_Mother_Foster carer and take regular training on various child issues eg vulnerable babies, life story work, play activity, paediatric first, aid, Attachment theory, child protection, the Law and childrens rights, cot death training protection, Gross and fine motor skills, raising confidence in children, babies minds matter. and attend regular training on childcare through edinburgh city council training.Childminding Induction

- Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)
Nanny / babysitting fees starting at £14 an hour for Nanny jobs /babysitting depending on how many children and distance. minimum 3 hours babysitting at your home.
Maternity nurse /night nanny is £16 an hour

Fiona came to look after our 22 month old and was organised, easy to deal with and very reliable. I'd highly recommend using Fiona for any babysitting you may need. She's extremely knowledgeable and you van be absolutely confident that your wee one is in safe hands.

Fiona looked after our 16-month old daughter for a few days so we could visit Edinburgh baby free.
She's an excellent and highly experienced carer who makes it look almost easy to look after a kid. Every day, we found our daughter in a happy mood and very calm after spending time with Fiona.

It was my pleasure she was a charm to look after 🥰
Fiona babysat for our two children (6 & 2yrs old) in our holiday apartment while we were at a birthday celebration. It was the first time our 2yr old had been looked after by a babysitter and it could not have gone more smoothly! 2yr old even woke up in the morning and asked where Fiona was! Thank you Fiona, for being a wonderful carer last Saturday night!

Fiona made us feel very comfortable and at ease as parents who left their baby with someone for the very first time. She was professional the entire time with her communication, and could appreciate our nerves, and yet was helpful to us.
