Dear families,
I am experienced nanny, originally from the Czech Republic. I have lived in the UK for 23 years and in all of this time I have been looking after children.
I really enjoy working with children; I like their simple approach to everyday life and their ability to have fun with almost anything they come across. I like to go for walks to the park and engage in a variety of fun activities with the children. I believe I am a responsible, capable and reliable person with a good track record.
My Experience
I have 21 years of experience working in childcare, 18 of which has been spent looking after children in sole charge.
My Qualifications
I am an experienced nanny with excellent references and have a proven track record of offering good quality childcare.
I’m CRB checked and I have a first aid certificate.
I have a clean driving licence and own a car that can be used for transporting children if necessary.
My Availability
I’m available for a part time work and also for ad hoc nannying work.
I’m also available for evening babysitting.

When I first met Veronika, she came across as someone who is very approachable and friendly. I immediately felt I could trust her with my children. I needed a nanny quite quickly for my two kids (7 years and 2.5 year old) as I had just started a new job and Veronika was extremely accommodating to start at such short notice, which was such a great help to us.
She brings her two year old son with her and, although initially there were some challenges with getting my son and her son to nap together, she adapted to the situation really well by suggesting different ways to accommodate to my son’s nap schedule. My son now naps really well with her and the two boys just love each other’s company! Veronika not only looks after my children, but also plans activities and takes them to clubs. My son is struggling with his speech and Veronika was supportive in helping us put into practice some of the strategies our speech therapist recommended which is a great help.
Veronika is someone who is super organised, always punctual and you know you can rely on her. She has also been very flexible with any additional hours we have needed from time to time. I would happily recommend her to any family!

We cannot recommend the childcare services of Veronika Harper highly enough. In the two years that Veronika worked for us, she has done far more than care for our children - she, and her daughter have become part of our family. Veronika has an outstanding relationship with our children, whom she has helped to raise since the ages of 3 and 5.
Veronika's approach to both discipline and pastoral care is superb and she has been keen to replicate our own approaches in order to maintain consistency - she immediately formed a strong rapport with the children. In addition, we have learnt from Veronika's approaches to childcare too.
Veronika is reliable, flexible and attentive but goes beyond the requirements of any nanny or childcarer I have known. Not only does Veronika care for the children, take them on trips and to clubs, plan activities for them, ensure homework is completed to the proper standard but she also helps us to ensure that we are kept up-to-date on all issues relating to the children - often acting as a PA too, to help ensure our family runs effectively.
Veronika has kept us sane and minimised the impact of our work on the children over the past two years. We are incredibly sad to lose Veronika, due purely to location, as would happily have employed her for as many years as she would have us!

Veronika babysat for our 5 1/2 month old baby at short notice. She was very friendly and competent, we would have no hesitation in asking Veronika to look after our baby again.
