About Me
I’m a fully OFSTED Registered Childminder and a mum to two boys age 15 and 18. I live in the Handforth area very close to Handforth Grange Primary School. I hold public liability insurance and both my husband and I have an enhanced DBS check. I have a car which is fully insured for business use.
My Experience
My experience has been gained from taking care of my own family and babysitting for families in the local area. I’ve been Childminding for 14 years, and have looked after children from Newborn upwards.
I provide a flexible service which can be tailored to suit your specific needs. My aim is to have lots of fun and you can be assured your child will get the love, care and attention they deserve. I believe that children learn most from play, I have a variety of toys for all ages and a good sized garden for plenty of outdoor activities. All my meals are healthy and home cooked. I make good use of the local parks, library, Classes, Forest School, National Trust Sites and toddler groups. We also love to paint, cook and do lots of lovely arts and craft projects. I plan a range of activities to develop the children's fine motor skills, language and mathematical thinking.
My Qualifications
I have successfully completed a childminding course and hold a current paediatric first aid certificate. I received GOOD from OFSTED during my last inspection in February 2024.
My Availability
My working hours are from 8.00 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday. I will have places available September 2025. Full Time/Part Time or Term Time only.
I do not provide before and after school places or drop offs and pick ups for nursery/school age children at Handforth Grange or any other schools in the local area.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
My hourly rate is inclusive of meals, snacks, drinks and outings. This does not include nappies and formula milk. No charge during school holidays for a Term Time only place. I accept Childcare Vouchers & offer Funded Places for 9 months to 2 years/3 & 4 year old's, both 15 & 30 hours. Places available for September 2025.
