I am a childminder registered with Ofsted since early 2008. I have previous experience working in a child development centre caring for babies from 6 weeks to 18 months of age.
I am a member of PACEY.
I live with my partner and our 18 year old son in North Watford .
We live close to Watford Junction.
I offer a home from home environment, encouraging children through play and experiences to reach their developmental milestones following the eyfs guidlines. I have a wide range of toys for the children to explore through freeplay and we do structured play activities, arts and craft and messy play . I have a secure garden with a sandpit toys etc.
I live near three parks which we visit regulary. We attend toddler groups. We meet up with other childminder's and mindees for playdates where the children are able to build relationships and make friendships.
I drop off and collect from Orchard school.

Dawn has looked after my daughter from as soon as we moved into the area. The support and care provided were absolutely fantastic and I saw fast improvements in my daughter’s social and learning skills.
Dawn is such a warm and lovely childminder, she puts a lot of focus on the educational side of things and the children take to her quickly.

Dawn is incredible with children of all ages. I have 2 children and both can be challenging at times but Dawn was extremely patient with them both. She has a very calm manner and uses a wide range developmental activities to engage with the children. Both of my children were with her for a few years and still love seeing her now and will still ask to go to her house. I would highly recommend Dawn to everyone who is looking for an experienced, friendly and calm childminder.

Dawn has looked after both of my children for over 11 years, since my youngest was 9 months old. Both children love going to Dawn's, she provides a safe, clean home from home environment, so much so that both children think of her more as an aunt than a childminder :)
Dawn has a calm yet fun manner and she really does know how to get the best out of children - they all love her!
The children are always entertained at Dawn's, they do lots of fun and educational activities together - parks, trips out, craft activities, puzzles, reading etc - I know they aren't sat in front of the TV for hours on end!
Dawn has always been on hand to ask advice and help with any transitions - potty training, starting school etc.
Dawn really is a fantastic childminder and feels more like an extended family member which I feel is important when someone is caring for your child when you can't be there!
Can't recommend her enough!

Dawn has been looking after my daughter for 3 years now and can honestly say she’s absolutely fantastic. She’s great at keeping the kids entertained, provides great nutritious meals and superb feedback on your child’s wellbeing while in her care.
