I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I live in Bloxham with my Husband, Tom, our 13 year old son Joseph,our 6 year old daughter Martha, our 3 year old son Teddy and two cats. We live in our own home and have a child friendly, enclosed garden. The garden has a summer house at the end of the garden that children seem to use an extra play room and will be throughly used in the summer months.
I have previously been a childminder in Bicester and was extremely busy there and have been lucky enough to have minded some wonderful children! I was a governor at my sons previous school in Bicester and enjoyed this role immensely too.
I am currently available for any day and can collect or drop off at Bloxham primary school.
Activity wise we enjoy being outside, trips to parks and walks. Messy play and the water table are in constant use! Reading areas are always being moved and set up, especially on warm days in the garden. Music and singing are firm favourites and I enjoy all of them as much as the children seem to! We enjoy trying new activities and I base these on the children I have and their interests.
As a childminder I firmly believe that my home should be a home from home for the children I care for and they always seem to end up like family.

I have attended childminding courses and hold a valid paediatric first aid certificate. I have had recently attended a safeguarding course too.

Cordelia looked after my son from 9 months until just before he was 2 years old full time, and he absolutely adored her and her family, and still does. My son absolutely thrived with Cordelia and I felt confident that he was always safe and extremely well cared for. Cordelia was very flexible and accommodating with my son even at short notice and nothing was too much trouble. My son loved going there and his nursery comment on how amazing his childminder must have been as he is doing so well for his age with his development. I would definitely use cordelia again in the future and recommend to anyone.

Cordelia recently looked after my two children (5 and 8), stepping in at the last minute when another childminder had let me down with little notice. She was so lovely and friendly that she was an instant hit with my children, including the youngest who is often wary of new people. They had a great evening and she indicated that they didn't misbehave (not always easy with my two). All in all an excellent outcome, and very reasonable rates.
I would readily get Cordelia to look after my two again and highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for child care in the Bicester area.

Cordelia has looked after my 2 children (6 and 4) on a number of occasions during holidays since they were little.
She always keeps them well entertained and happy.
My children love her to bits and are always asking to stay with her / visit - they love the friendly homely atmosphere at her house and really enjoy it there. Cordelia seems to have a natural way with children, engaging them easily and keeping them entertained.
I highly reccomend her to anyone looking for a childminder in the Bicester area!
