About Me
I have been an Ofsted registered childminder since 2007, i am married with two children. My home is my setting where there is a main play area and fully enclosed garden for outside play and learning. My provision is very child centered and i work closely with parents so every child reaches their full potential. I value the individuality and uniqueness of each child and provide a wide range of resources and equipment that follows the Early Years Foundation Stage. I work closely to observe childrens learning and development and make sure each child is happy and loved and cared for, and that their parents are happy that their child is with me in a safe and secure environment.
My Experience
I previously worked in a pre school setting for ten years. I have had experience in foster caring and looked after three children. I am always keeping up-to-date by attending new training and development courses.I research to find things out for myself.
My Qualifications
Early Years Foundation Degree (year 1), Cache level 2 Paediatric First Aid, Child Protection, Signalong, Food Hygiene, NVQ 3 Early Years and Education, SENCO, Highscope for Childminders, Elkan (talking with under 5s), Incredible Years, Superstar Childminder(development programme), Working with vulnerable families and various play and childrens development courses.
