My Summary
About Me
Ofsted graded GOOD – El Shaddai Childcare and Education
As a reliable, committed and patient individual that, is passionate in enhancing children’s ability, whilst supporting their developmental needs. Before registering as a Childcare Provider, I have extensive working experience with families and children of different ages, needs and abilities in the community, churches and schools. Within that time, it has not only been rewarding in the knowledge, skills and experiences I have gained in children and families’ sector to deliver professional services. But it also motivated me to further my education at the university in education, children and family related programmes (amongst many). In such that, it has developed my educational knowledge to utilise my skills while implementing and using as the core model, the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)’ framework. It is a framework I use as an innovative key to unlock the genius in children, whilst monitoring and supporting individual child’s growth at the expected level of the ‘Early Learning Goals (ELGs).
As children are the future of the society, they need to be invested in from an early stage – starting from the root, in order for them to achieve economic well-being and be a positive contributor in the society. Therefore, after being registered with Ofsted as a Childcare Provider, El Shaddai Childcare and Education has since cared for children of diverse abilities from varied backgrounds, race and culture. With the mix of nursery in a child-centred home based childcare and educational solid foundation setting, that gives children best of both nursery and home-to-home developmental support. Children are therefore able to gain care and education in a safe and healthy child-friendly atmosphere.
I belief teaching children to be independent and influencing their learning, will enrich their well-being, because, quality care is if an individual is informed, they will be empowered and be prepared to be proactive. So, these are the key points that my aims; visions; missions and vales are set out to achieve, to encourage children’s participation for a lifelong learning. While developing their five senses and working together with other children effectively to discover the world we live in. Children are given the opportunity to be independent while using their own initiative to cope in ability and age related tasks, so as to support their well-being and all-round growth. I am creative, enthusiastic and fun loving; I have passion for development and learning, so I foster a quality focussed attitude to encourage participation and achieve potentials in life. Children’s prospects and achievements are celebrated as an inspiration to support children while challenging them with age and ability learning resources. So as your child spends most of the daytime with me, I provide more than just an ordinary day-care provider service of merely looking after children. Children’s educational growth are developed, supported and broadened by given each child an early learning that, builds up to motivate them as a confident learner and contributor.
El Shaddai Childcare and Education offers quality childcare and pre-school services to children from birth to five years and educates children up to eleven years of age. It provides an excellent wide range of indoors and outdoors resources and activities to children, whilst encouraging and supporting them to express themselves and to make the best use of resources, which maximises their potentials. Children explores freely without leaving any individual child behind. So that parents can concentrate on their daily job with the peace of mind that their children are being looked after by professionals that enhance children’s all round growth. We also go out and about to make use of the local amenities. Education needs not to be tedious, so as I want to make your child’s time in my setting a happy, valuable and cherished time that inspires children’s educational interest, whilst having fun. Children’s learning is motivated, so as to thrive to become confident learners and contributor that will prepare them for their transition to school and beyond.
Healthy meals are provided to children without extra cost.

Funke was a kind, patient childminder for my 4 year old son. She planned nice activities (making bread; arts and crafts; drawing; outings) and taught him some very good habits (eg. doing his zipper by himself; washing his hands after school). To my mind Funke has the perfect mix of kindness and firmness. My son was happy and as a bonus brought home some very nice 'artwork' too. This is a serious and professional childminder with lots of experience working with children of all ages.

Thank you for taking the time to review my service, and for your comment as well.
This is well appreciated.
It was a pleasure to have been KP's Childcarer.
Regards
During my daughters stay at El Shaddai Childcare and Education, my daughter found it welcoming and settled in very quickly. She was exposed to a wide range of toys, both fun and educational and developmental ones. The childminder (Funke) was very patient and encouraging in her development. Funke is also worked hard to create a safe and welcoming environment in her home, which was also appreciated given our daughter was 2 years old.
