About Me
I am a lifelong educator and parent of a 7 year old. I used to teach history and conflict studies in various universities in New York City, and founded an organization that runs conflict negotiation simulations for professionals. My partner, daughter and I live in Beckley just outside Oxford. We home school, and need someone who can come a few times a week to spend time with our daughter. Timing is flexible. We are looking for someone who has experience with self-directed learning approaches, who likes the outdoors, and who can take on the challenge of an extremely creative, passionate, expressive, fun and precocious 7 year old.
