About Me

We are a relaxed happy family living in Stroud Green with a bright friendly 8 year old son. We are looking for someone to take care of our son after school two to three times a week on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (to be agreed). Either my husband or I will normally be home by 18.00.

My Requirements

Babysitter
After School Nanny
Part Time Nanny

Your job will be to:

- Collect him from school (a short walk from our house).

- After school you might take him to clubs, play with him at home or in the park or meet with friends. Help him practice reading, spelling and times tables

- Give him a snack and make him a simple evening meal.

Our son is a kind bright child. He is very creative and loves drawing, science, and animals. He plays football, loves swimming and has just started learning the guitar.

We’d like someone who can build a warm, kind, encouraging and relaxed relationship to bring out the best in him. We expect to offer a minimum of six hours a week most weeks but would also give you the opportunity to work some longer days during holidays or half term if you were interested (around 8- 10 hours a day) and any ad hoc help we require.

We thought that this flexibility of this role might make it a good option for someone with other commitments (e.g. self employed, homemaker, student etc). You must have checkable references, be non-smoking, and have an up to date DBS certificate.

Please apply with CV and a covering email setting out your interest in the role
