About Me
I have been an Ofsted registered childminder for 26 years based in Brighton Hill, Basingstoke. I currently have a full time space available for a child under 5 years.
I have been married for 45 years and have two daughters who live and work locally.
My care setting has a loving and fun atmosphere with a huge choice of both indoors and outdoors activities for all ages. I plan lots of fun educational activities and attended local playgroups at least twice a week. This allows the children to socialise and have access to various craft activities and much larger play equipment.
I thoroughly enjoy child minding hence why I have been doing it so long! I am very proud to say I have been a part of raising so many lovely children over the years and still maintain contact with lots of them.
My Experience
I have been a registered child minder for 26 years, over the years I have encountered all kinds of children and families from all walks of life. I have experienced children who need encouragement to reach their full potential and others with varying kinds of challenging behaviour.
My Qualifications
I am CACHE Level 3 qualified
I am a trained paediatric first aider and this is renewed every 3 years
I have completed countless training days covering everything from safeguarding and hygiene through to outdoor play and science and the outdoors.
My Availability
My opening hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 17:00pm but can be flexible if required.
