About Me
Welcome to Dee Dee’s Childminding.
My name is Dee, I’m married to Danny and we live in Arnold with our 3 daughters - Willow 9, Pipar 5 and Emersyn 4. We have a lovely indoor bunny called Bongo, and 2 cats called Maverick and Lucy.
I work with an assistant and together we offer a warm, friendly and comforting environment where children feel safe and happy. Ellie has been with me for over 4 years and is part of the family. We offer a wide variety of activities including daily outings to local toddler groups, library trips, farms, park etc. On request we can supply an example of our weekly plan of what we get up to.
We also have lots of play dates with fellow childminders so children can meet lots of people and start to build friendships.
I have a designated, well equipped play room for children to enjoy with plenty of toys, puzzles, books, craft equipment and chalk board etc.
Our setting is right next to a fabulous green/wooded area which provides us fantastic opportunities for outdoor exploration and developing physical skills.
Included in my fees I provide healthy snacks, drinks and lunch. Special dietary requirements can be easily catered for too.
I have recently been graded GOOD by OFSTED in August 2022.
I currently offer care between the hours of 7.30am and 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday and hours are flexible depending on individual family needs.

My Experience
I have 3 beautiful daughters- Willow (9) Pipar (5) and Emersyn (4) which has broadened my knowledge of childcare immensely. I also have 3 wonderful nieces and a nephew who I spend a great deal of time with. I also have extensive experience caring for my sister who was Down Syndrome and suffered many health problems including epilepsy and angina.
I offer care for all age groups.
I have been childminding now for over 9 years, learning constantly along the way. I have undertaken many training courses such as safeguarding, child abuse, special educational needs and I have also completed my Level 3 Diploma in early years education to support my childcare knowledge.
My Qualifications
12 hour Paediatric First aid training - both me, my husband and assistant Ellie.
CYPOP5 – Understanding how to set up a home based childcare service.
DBS Check – both me and my husband.
Level 3 early years educator
Lots of additional training courses carried out covering all areas of childcare and development
I hold PLI Insurance; my car is suitably insured and fit for purpose. I am also Ofsted Registered and fully insured.
My Availability
I have spaces available from September 2023, full or part time places available to suit family requirements.
Before and after school spaces for ages 8+ available for Richard Bonington school.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
My Daily rate is £42 (paid weekly or monthly, payable in advance)
Morning/Afternoon Session is £30.00 hours to be agreed.
Hours are flexible to suit your requirements.
I also offer:

Before/After School Care
Before and/or after school care is charged at £7.00 per hour with a minimum of 2 hours.
Currently I offer school drop off and collections from Richard Bonington.
I accept childcare vouchers and 15/30 hours funding.
My Local Schools
