Brilliant Childminder

Christine looked after my little boy for nearly 6 years. I was really apprehensive about using a childminder back then, but thinking back I have never worried about leaving him there as I instantly warmed to her and the environment she provides.

He absolutely loves her and almost became part of her family and would regularly talk about her children (teenagers) who also treated him really well. When he didn't need to go to her in the summer holidays, he would ask when he was seeing Christine again because he missed her.

Christine is naturally very caring attentive, understanding and supportive. She celebrates all the children's achievements, and tells you when something good has happened and If my boy had had a bad day at school she would happily cheer him up and fill me in at the end of the day.
She takes the children out regularly and gets them doing arts and crafts as well. She has a play room with lots of different toys and also gets them in the garden in the summer. I've also known her to do little parties for them too! I found she accommodates for both the younger ones and the school children well and is perfectly situated for Roman way first school and Roysia middle school.

The hours and days I needed and his childcare needs changed as he grew and the years went on and there where times I had to ask her to cover extra hours and change things - Christine was always very flexible, accommodating and again supportive I can't lie there were times I really couldn't have lived without her!
I'm almost glad that although I don't need regular childcare I know there will be times I will need a little extra help, otherwise I would also be saying we where really going to miss her!
I can't thank Christine enough for all her help and for looking after my now not so little boy as well as she has!

Superb Childminder

I instantly warmed to Christine, it's like meeting someone new you just know that you'll get along with and will look after your child the way you would. She looks after my 7 year old and has even got my stubborn I don't like anyone 2 year old on board too. And that takes some doing as she is very particular!! Baby number 3 is due soon and in true fashion nothing is ever a problem and is on hand to provide extra hours at short notice if needed. Her home environment is really welcoming and gives you the feeling your child is in safe hands. She has a little play room with lots of toys that both my children bee lined for when we first visited and once in, I couldn't get them out! She takes the kids out at every opportunity, my 7 year old is always asking if she can go with Christine to the park even at weekends. If your looking for a childminder that gives you that gut instinct yep this feels right then Christine is your lady. I highly recommend her :-)

Amazing childminder!

I always base a lot of trust in reviews so I hope this one does Christine the justice she truly deserves.....
Christine has looked after our youngest son for the best part of 18 months and also looks after our older son in the school holidays. Firstly I must stress how happy our children are (and always have been) going to Christine's house - they run in with a smile on their faces and run out as happy as ever ???? I have never been anxious leaving them as they are so happy being there! It is a perfect set-up, the children have their own playroom which is full of lovely toys, books etc. Not only this, the house has a wonderful cosy 'homey' feel...the boys have always been made to feel 'part of the family' which was particulary important to my husband and I. Christine has been happy to help me with my little fussy eater (!) and through the terrible toilet training stage! Always thoughtful, kind and happy to give a hug to my precious boys ????The boys enjoy doing lots of activities with Christine and their visits to the park together. There have been several times when I have needed extra days/hours childcare (due to work commitments) and Christine is always happy to help if possible. I am so sad our time together has almost come to an end (my youngest will be starting nursery in September). We will most defiantly be staying in touch, she is now a good friend to us ???? Anyone thinking of a childminder in Royston should most defiantly contact Christine, she is the best!

Fantastic childminder

Christine is a lovely caring childminder. She has looked after my son for one and a half year now and I couldn't be happier. Firstly, i feel confident that my son is always safe and in a loving homely environment. He is always happy to run in to play with the other children. Christine is always taking them out to groups or the park and there is always a lovely atmosphere at the house when I drop him off or pick him up. The children get on well and look out for each other and are taught to look after the younger ones. I would recommend Christine to anyone!

Excellent, Caring Childminder

Christine is an excellent child-minder. She looked after my two children for four years, all through their early years. Christine is very caring and is always willing to give out hugs. My daughter was a little shy and reluctant to go somewhere new, but Christine provides such a lovely environment for little ones that she quickly integrated. The children have a separate playroom with toys and in the summer have the chance to play in the garden. Christine regularly takes them to the park, where there are picnics with our child-minders. I would not hesitate to recommend Christine to any other parents.
