Hi my name is Jessica, I am married and live with my husband and two beautiful boys aged 9 and 15 we live on Buckshaw Village,
We are non smokers.
My eldest son has special needs (ADHD & ASD) so I have lots of first hand experience with this. He is high functioning, and keeps him self to him self so is never around the children.
I have a clean driving license.
I'm a very loving friendly person and just want to give the children the best start in life, I want to create and fulfill lots of amazing experiences for the children I look after!
I truly believe every child needs love and care to be able to learn and this is the environment I want my home to be.
I have been childminding for 6 years now.
In the past I have spent 8 years working in a forestry school environment within the nursery and preschool so done extensive training on how the child develops best in the outdoors and natural environment, I will be putting all this experience into practice with the children by spending as much time possible in the out doors discovering the environment and creating new experiences. We will also be visiting local groups such as toddler time, story and rhyme time and local toddler groups so the children get to learn, and join in with other children and take part in exciting new adventures, as well as going on trips to the zoo, farms, swimming etc.
My Experience
I have over 14 years experience working in nursery's and pre schools, and as a child-minder looking after children aged newborn to 5. I spent 8 years working in a school as a nursery manager in both a 2-3 years unit and a pre school.
I have done lots of one to one support for children wth additional learning needs so feel my knowledge and understanding in this area is excellent.
I have been a childminder for 6 years now and absolutely love my job, and am very passionate about providing the best care possible for the children I look after.
My Qualifications
I am qualified to level 3 in childcare and also I have my paediatric first aid qualification as well as CAF, safeguarding, allergy awareness, speech and language in early years, managing behaviour in early years, quality provision for 2's and under, one to one support for special education learning needs and documenting and tracking a child's development, forestry school, as well as many other qualifications to support my teaching.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £99.99 per hour
Rates to be discussed
This will include all meals and healthy snacks but nappies and wipes need to be provided! All days out will be with in the price!
Prices to be discussed, i don’t use an hourly rate i have a daily rate but unable to add this to the system but happy to discuss this with you if it’s something you need

Jess was great at looking after my daughter, my daughter loved going to hers and had a good time, Antytime I need a childminder she’s always only a message away if I needed and happy to help if she’s available, would highly recommend Jess!

Lovely lady. Have met Jessica a couple of times to arrange for our new born to go to her from the New Year. Really impressed with everything Jessica has said will happen. Really friendly and most importantly a real passion for doing what's best for Children. We have no worries in sending our daughter to her in the New Year.

Lovely lady after being in contact since june and going to visit and since a verbal agreeement and messages to have my son (was awaiting a contract to be drawn up as shes a new childminder)sorted my rota with work on a back to work meeting i recieved a message to say she is unable to have my son now as she cant afford to have less than 4 days minimum a week ..... very dissappointed
