About Me
I’m a 43 year old mum to 3 children. 2 boys aged 12 and 10 and 7 year old girl. Life is busy as a family of 5, but feel lucky every day. I’m caring, reliable and friendly.
As a family, we relocated to Praa Sands over the summer of 2024 and all love being the sea.
My background is in children’s nursing and I qualified as a children’s nurse in 2003. I came to Bristol after getting my first children’s nursing job at the then Frenchay Hospital. I worked there until 2009. I then branched into a specialist role of nursing at Southmead Hospital joining the Infection Control team. I left the NHS in 2014 to be a full time mum to my boys. Since then we welcomed our daughter into our family in 2017.
I started a bit of babysitting after I didn’t go back to work full time. I’ve always enjoyed meeting new families.
In 2022 once my daughter was settled in school I took on a role as a Teaching Assistant at my children’s school. I worked within a year 3/4 class and I thoroughly enjoyed everyday in the classroom.
As a family we love exploring new places, picnics, walks, beaches and eating out.
I enjoy coffee trips, going on holiday, walking,
being with my family and friends and anything to do with the sea.
I have a clean driving licence and I don’t smoke. We don’t have any pets, but more than happy with pet company.
If you’re on holiday, maybe able to help you have a night out. Know as a mum, they can be rare.
My Experience
I have always had an interest in children and studied GCSE child development gaining an A grade.
I started baby sitting with my mum and when I was able to do it alone, really enjoyed it. Always enjoyed helping mum at Sunday school with the little ones.
Gold duke of Edinburghs award scheme - volunteer work with young adults.
Advanced GNVQ health and social care
2:1 degree in childrens nursing
And 6 years working as a children's nurse.

Still in contact with families I’ve babysat for, so they’d be happy for a reference or the local school where I worked.
