Hi, I am an ofsted registered childminder with over 24 years of experience.
I have a passion for caring for and nurturing children into kind and successful young adults.
I have 3 grown up children, one of whom is a working mum and I understand how difficult it is to leave your child, even with a loved one. And it is with that in mind that I cherish and care for each and every child in my care. My aim is to ensure you go to work happy that your child is happy.
I attend courses regularly and provide the same learning experience as a nursery but with that added personal touch.

My Experience
I have been a registered childminder for 24 years and have worked constantly during this time I have seen many children in my care from babies until they go to high school . I love my job and ensure that all children in my care feel loved and safe . We do many activities and go on outings I have a special playroom in my home filled with toys and activities for the children . I have been on many courses and have my first aid certificate up to date . I follow the birth to 5 as laid out by the early years foundation .
My Qualifications
I have been on numerous courses ie : disability , autism , safe guarding children ,2 year check ,birth to three matters ,unique child n positive relationships,everyone counts and many more .I have my first aid certificate for which I attend a course every 3 years and I have a level 5 in food and hygiene . All my courses are updated regularly.
My Availability
I work from 6 in the morning till 6 at night 5 days a week . I do nursery and schools drop offs n pick ups in the woolston area .

Lorraine goes above an beyond with all children she looks after. Nothing is too much trouble. She is very caring and passionate. I would highly recommend Lorraine. My little boy absolutely loves going to her. Since my little boy started with Lorraine he has come on leaps and bounds. My husband and I always feel at ease when leaving our boy on Lorraine's care!

Absolutely fantastic and couldn't recommend anyone more. Loves and cares for the children in her care as though they are her own. Highly recommended.
