Lovely friendly nursery

Our daughter went to Charlotte’s nursery for over two years and we felt so comfortable with her being there. Charlotte is wonderful with children, and totally eased our fears about leaving our daughter with her - cuddling her to sleep when needed, and giving her so much love. The setting is really lovely and cheerful, with plenty of space for play. The garden is brilliant too, with a mud kitchen. And should mention what a great cook Charlotte is! Our daughter loved the food and we couldn’t compete at home ;)

A Great Childcare Provider

Where to begin? Charlotte and her team have been warm, trustworthy and reliable from the moment we contacted her and met them all in person first-time. They have cared for our daughter over a year, and we are only moving on because she is going to preschool.

Our daughter settled in quickly with Charlotte and the team. It was very apparent to us that she felt completely at home at KHDN and became very attached to Janice. KHDN is a clean, warm and relaxed setting and our daughter looked forward to going there each day to see Charlotte and the team and her friends. We know it is because of the amazing care and love that was shown to her.

As first-time parents, Charlotte and the team has given us gentle, never intrusive advice to help our daughter grow and develop. The communication is excellent – info on the day’s activities, photos of my daughter’s days and the daily communication book are great (how she felt throughout the day, nap times, what she has eaten – always healthy meals and nappies changes).

Our daughter is always busy with play and different activities both indoors and out in the garden – even in winter which she loves. I value the fact that Charlotte is flexible because if our daughter was tired, or maybe teething and just need a quiet, snuggly day - then that is what she would get! Charlotte and the team at KHDN have helped our daughter learn many new things and skills before the age milestones- and in a relaxed way which has foster A BIG love for learning in her at this young age.

I highly recommend Kent House Day Nursery and grateful to God that we found Charlotte, Janice and the team at KHDN because it is an exceptional and outstanding nursery.

A Highly Recommended Childcare Provider

Charlotte and her team provided exceptional care for my daughter, during her time. From the first viewing and meeting Charlotte I felt a warmth and a good feeling as her extensive experience was evident. The settling period was provided to help my little one adjust. My daughter quickly adjusted and clearly enjoyed her time there. Always having a smile on her face during drop-offs and pick-ups. Communication between us and the team was efficient and regular. Overall, I could not praise them enough on their professionalism, care and passion they have for the children in their care. Do not hesitate if you are looking for a trustworthy carer.

A wonderful, nurturing home

My daughter began going to Charlotte's when she was 14 months until she was almost three and it was a lovely experience for her. Its hard to know what is going to suit your child and sending them off to nursery/childminder for the first time is daunting, but Charlotte gave me nothing but reassurance and after a period of settling in my daughter grew very to Charlotte and her team and had a truly wonderful time there, only moving to to go to pre-school. For me, Charlotte's felt like a mini nursery so the transition to pre-school was perfect and we often still talk of 'Char House'. My daughter in particular enjoyed her trips to the library and also the local shop with Charlotte to buy lolly's for the other children in the summer - made her feel very grown up. I always felt she was in very safe hands :)

Just like family

We brought our 7 month old daughter here when I was returning back to work and Charlotte helped to make that transition so seamless. My daughter looked forward to going to Kent House each day and I know it’s because of the amazing care and love that was shown to her. I highly recommend this place and thankful that we were able to find Charlotte. .

Caring childminder and happy environment

Charlotte and her assistants have been amazing for our daughter who attended Charlotte's setting from 18-40 months. Charlotte has created a safe and happy environment for the little ones, where they are able to explore, play and learn. Since the first day, we were sure our daughter is in safe and caring hands. Our daughter loved going there every day and made really good friends with other children in the setting. It's been a few months since she is not attending the setting anymore, but she still misses Charlotte and talks very fondly about her.

Great nursery/childminder

Our son loved being here and talks about “Charlotte Nursery” all the time. Our son was really well cared for and fed very well! He loved going in to the garden and playing with his friends. There was a really lovely community feel to the nursery and we made friends with the other children’s parents.

A great environment for little ones

Our daughter went to Charlotte’s from 9months old to 28months old and loved it. She learned so much there, made loads of friends and really bonded with Charlotte and her assistants. A great environment for little ones in a setting that feels homely.
We only left because we moved away!

Wonderfuly happy and caring childminder

My son absolutely adores Charlotte. He really struggled to settle in but Charlotte was fantastic at helping him to feel comfortable and at home.

He has enjoyed the variety of activites put on and has learnt so much, always coming home knowing a new song.

Now that we are moving on I know how much he will miss her, her wonderful cooking and all the other children.

I know this has been the best start for my son snd wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Charlotte is brilliant and caring

Our 2 year old son has been with Charlotte since Jan 2021, we only left as we are moving location!
Charlotte and the team are excellent, so kind and caring, and A is always so happy and excited to go each day. Each day they do lots of different activities, play in the garden, A loves the mud kitchen!

It's a brilliant setting (set up like a mini nursery) and Charlotte cooks an excellent variety of meals and the children are so well cared for and the activities really focus on their key development.
It's a really lovely setting and A has been so happy here, would thoroughly recommend.

My daughter is always excited to go

Charlotte and her team are absolutely fantastic. We are absolutely gutted to have to leave as we’re moving house.

They got to know my daughter so quickly. I could tell they work closely to the individual child’s needs and personality. So much of Charlottes home is dedicated to the children she looks after both indoors and outdoors.

I cannot recommend Charlotte highly enough, she has set a high bar for finding our next childcare!

Great childcare

Our 2-yr old boy has been going to KHCC for just over a year now and he absolutely loves it. Charlotte’s created a really homely setting with way more toys and fun than he has at home! He loves her cooking, daily activities, hanging out with his buddies and Charlotte provides regular updates and we work together on his development - he’s learnt a huge amount in her care. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Warm and friendly

Home to home first time my son had childminder and it went brilliantly lovely service and warm and friendly. Met my sons needs and he felt comfortable going there dod not want to leave. Gutted to leave have rarely found people my son has felt comfortable with as much as this. Thank you very much! Always recommended. Miss you alot. Beautiful family and assistants ; )

Warm & caring

Our daughter started with Charlotte just before she turned one. Like any new parents, we were nervous about the transition into childcare but Charlotte put our minds at ease and our daughter settled really well with her. She was always excited to see Charlotte in the morning and it was a big comfort to know that she was happy and having fun.

Charlotte provides lots of activities for the children and we were really pleased with the progress in her development while she was there. We had good, clear communication with updates on our daughter's day - how much she slept, ate etc. Charlotte has a lovely space with a good sized garden area for outdoor messy play.

We miss you Charlotte!

Charlotte has been watching my daughter for over a year now and I can honestly say that it’s like she is now one of their family. The love and care that Charlotte and her team show my child is amazing. I was hesitant at first to go with a childminder, but Charlotte has completely changed my mind. Part of the family

Charlotte and Wayne are so welcoming, warm and loving. Instantly, they make you feel part of something very special.
My son was 10 month when we met Charlotte and he loved her straight away. Wayne and Charlotte were brilliant at settling him.
On the odd day, Charlotte will have both our children as they are both of school age now. They love going to their place.
Loads of activities, delicious food and nap times are always planned.
I highly recommend Charlotte. Very trust worthy. You can tell, she loves what she does.

A home away from home

Charlotte and Wayne are such caring, warm, welcoming and enthusiastic people. Instantly we could tell how much the enjoy and love what they do. The moment my son, 11 months at the time, and I went over for a visit, he took to their environment straight away. I particularly was impressed with the number of activities , healthy meals, and strictures routine she had in place for every day. Our son particularly enjoyed the messy play sessions. Thank you Charlotte and Wayne for being so amazing. True superstars .

Amazing!!!

As a new mum of a 10 month old, Charlotte and Wayne couldn't be more warm, friendly and professional. My little girl has been with them a few times and she always seems happy and content...and I get great photos which is just brilliant. So happy to have found them!

High quality childcare services, excellent communi

Chalotte has been caring for my son since he was 8 months old. I am very impressed with the high quality of care that was given to my son.
I have observed Good quality meal that is freshly cooked. May son was always clean and happy and to see Charlotte when he arrived in the mornings.
I've found Charlotte to be very dedicated, reliable, flexible and actively involved in engaging all the children. We're particulary impressed how active she is, ensuring the babies and toddlers are involved in suitable local activities, and that they regularly interact with a wider group of young children. We also look forward to the photos she sends us of what they've been up during the day time.
Charlotte also takes the children out to the farm and museum.
I am recommending Charlotte CCs to anyone who is looking fo a safe, secure, caring and stimulating environment for your child/children. This is based on my own experience for over one and half year of using this service.

Very caring and loving home

My son Thomas was in Charlotte's care since he was a tiny baby. Since the day one I knew he would settle in fine and I knew I was leaving him in safe hands. Charlotte is very caring, loving and accommodates any requests or wishes you may have. She is very flexible in regards to her working hours so I always knew that no matter what work threw at me Thomas would be taken care of.
We still miss Charlotte's smile and if I could add more stars for her cooking I would!

She is very professional

Charlotte cared for my little 2 year old daughter . I am very happy to say my husband and i are very pleased with her service. Charlotte teaches the children in her setting very well, Charlotte takes my daughter along with other children to join the Library, Messy Play and Todddler Group every week along with other activities etc.

I have seen a hugh improvement with my daughter Speech and Language, counting numbers and singing nusery rymes.

If you decide to use her service. I am very sure you will experience how great her services are.

Using her Charlotte's service i do not see the need to send my daughter to a private school for now.

My Husband and i are Very! Very! Happy.
