About Me
Hello!
My name is Rosita Mills, I am originally from The Phillippines and I moved to the UK over 30 years ago. I have two daughters, and I live with my husband in Potters Bar. I recently became a grandmother and enjoy days out with my family, going to the market, and cooking.
I am an extremely supportive, understanding and professional childminder. I provide the children I look after with a homely environment, and hope they can feel comfortable with me and my family. A lot of children I have previously looked after have become good family friends and we meet up regularly.
We live on a quiet road which has no parking restrictions and is near the train station. My house is within walking distance to local playgroups, primary schools and Furzefield Leisure Centre. I am friends with other local childminders and often meet up to go on various day trips, including regularly going to Willow Farm. We have a lovely big garden which gives the children lots of opportunities to play outside, of course weather permitting. We have lots of toys, books and do lots of activities.

My Experience
I have been a childminder for 17 years. My last Ofsted inspection was in September 2018 and I received very positive feedback and an overall rating of Good. I can provide references upon request.

Rosita looked after my daughter and son for a year and a half. She created a loving environment for my children. I really valued the support and flexibility that she gave my family during a busy time.
She cared for my children tremendously, exposed them to new things, and encouraged them. My children are happy, confident, and social because of the love they received from Rosita.

Rosita has become like a second mum to both my 2 year old and 3 year old. She has been childminding Adam for the past 2 years so he was a baby, never have I ever met anyone as kind loving and caring as Rosita. She treats the kids like her own. They wake up asking for her on the days they don’t go which tells you how much they love her, and that says it all , the fact they run to the door and are so excited to go to Rosita. She has saved me many times when I needed someone the most. Thank you for being here always and the best. She’s extremely generous and is always giving even when she shouldn’t ! Home cooked meals, play dates, and much more
Everyone needs a Rosita and I can not recommend her more

Rosita was recommended by a friend of mine as she raised her child.
Rosita is not only a great childminder but is also a lovely and kind lady who is more than obvious that she loves kids. Rosita is very experienced childminder and she has a beautiful house with plenty of space both indoors and outdoors. My baby is happy and enjoys the time he spends with Rosita.

I have known Rosita for 7 years now. She looked after our daughter who is now 10 and looks after our 3 year old son. When I returned to work 2 years ago, Rosita was our first choice to look after our son. She is truly wonderful. She is kind, caring, considerate, patient, reliable, supportive, hardworking and positive. She looks after children like they are her own - and they love her! She has a special wonderful energy whereby children and parents gravitate towards her instantly. I have every confidence with her looking after my children. She has helped them grow up to be confident, independent and happy. I have no hesitation in recommending Rosita - we are so lucky to have her!

We've used Rosita for both our girls for over 8 years now. She is always reliable and flexible, kind and caring. Without her we would be at a loss! Both daughters adore her. Her home is a safe and loving environment and all the children she cares for are happy and content. I highly recommend her for your childcare needs.

I have used Rosita for many years and feel very lucky to have found her. First she looked after my son from the age of two until he started school and now she looks after my daughter who is 18 months old. Both of my children have loved spending time with Rosita and I have felt very comfortable leaving them in her care. Rosita feels like a member of our family and we couldn’t be without her! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

Rosita looked after my son like her own for two years before he started school. She is so kind and warm and he enjoyed going to her place. Her nurturing nature helped him settle quickly and to date we still keep in touch with her. She always went out of her way to make my son comfortable and I really appreciate all that she has done for him and us. Thank you Rosita for everything x

Rosita is a unique individual. Children absolutely adore her. She is loving, caring kind and helpful to parents. She treats children like her own. She is all about the safety and well-being of the children. Have had her for over 10 years, and would recommend her any day.

I've had my son childminding by Theresa for almost 3 years. There's no words that can describe the way Theresa care, loved and looked after my son. She has done the best job in the world, and can't praised her enough. She is the most caring, loving and calm person I've ever met. Damian loves her like being part of the family.
