About Me
My name is Lisa I live in the Ormesby area, I have twins (son/daughter) age 22 & a daughter age 16. We have a dog, & a lovebird. I have experience caring for children from birth to 13 years. I also have experience of twins.
I have a dedicated play room with a good range of resources a fully enclosed rear garden with mud kitchens, sand pit, water wall, ride on toys etc we go outside on a daily basis & use local amenities i.e.: playgroups/libraries/parks etc.
My Experience
I am a parent of 22 year old twins(boy&girl) & 16 year old girl. I have cared for children since I was a teenager & therefore have many years of experience caring for children. I became a registered childminder in May 2007 and since then I have cared for children from the age of 6wks to 13 years old.
I follow the EYFS & promote school readiness I ensure each child has a quality learning experience every day. My aim is to build on a child’s starting points to build their confidence, independence & social skills also focusing on manners & respect for others. I Promote healthy eating & wellbeing. I will enhance their learning & knowledge through both free play & adult led activities. I follow individual child’s interests & plan activities suitable for their age & stage of development. Children participate in an extensive range of activities which include natural resources. I will build on their numeracy/literacy/communication skills using nursery rhymes, books, art/crafts & adult led activities, ensuring they are focused & engaged, excited to learn so they make good progress in all 7 areas of learning. Children play inside & outside daily. We visit local playgroups/community hubs/libraries/parks/outings.
Within my setting I provide a happy, safe, stimulating, home from home environment where children's safety & well being is paramount.
