About Me

Apologies, I currently have no availability. I am a happy, energetic person who loves to get messy and engage in child led play! I am looking for full time nannying work in or around Cullompton, Devon.

I cook healthy, family meals and am meticulously tidy, always cleaning up after activities and meals. I am conscientious and always respect another person’s home and space. I’m happy to engage children in activities at home but I am also confident to take them to baby groups and out on day trips. I have my own car with a full, clean licence which I am happy to use for my job.

Due to the nature of working with young children, when verbal communication can sometimes be an issue, I have learned to understand children’s body language and nonverbal features to successfully comfort them in times of sadness or stress. I have Makaton training which I incorporate into day to day life with children.

I feel I am a warm and amicable person and have been told I am approachable by parents and other professional caregivers alike. I have a lot of experience helping babies and children in their daily routine, for example, bottles, nappies, feeds and sleeps. I also have experience supporting babies in baby led weening and exploring new food tastes and textures.

I am able to stick to routines that I am given to ensure the day flows easily and changeover is calm and stress-free. However, I am also capable of thinking on the spot and coming up with activities at a moments notice.

I am an animal and nature lover, spending much of my time outside and amongst animals ranging from Guinea pigs to dogs to horses.
