I am currently working as a Supported Housing Tenancy management officer where i work with vulnerable individuals and families. This entails that i aid in helping these maintenance their tenancies. i have worked with children in the past. I worked a family of two in 2016, the child 3 years and i worked with her fulltime. i completed the school pick up, bedtimes, dinner, helped her with her homework and then during the weekend i was responsible ensuring that she was attending all of her extra curricular activates as well as keeping her occupied whilst her mother, who worked long hours, was at work. this continued up untill i went to University to
study in Manchester. we kept in touch the whole and they were very particular on the next nanny, so they ended working with my younger sister
i developed a very close with the girl and her mother we are still close till this and they are like family to me. she still contact me when she need emergency babysitting as she has recently had another baby. So they have a very good bond with my and my sister also.

During work experience at Castlehaven I worked with children under 5. During this time I would set out toys in which the children could play with and I would also play with them and keep them entertained for as long as possible. At 11am I would make the kids healthy snacks to eat. At 12pm the kids would be picked up by their parents and leave. I would help tidy up any toys and clear the area for the other activities that followed after. At 4pm to 6pm I worked with children ages 9 to 12 for after school club. I had to set out games and activities and put them away once it was time to pack up. I really enjoyed the experience. While working the kids I learnt how to work under pressure and I was able to effectively meet my objectives. Apart from working with children I also carried out a lot of admin work. This included working with Microsoft Office, I organised files both physically and electronically. I also did a little reception work which included answering the company phone and taking down messages.
i worked with a family in Belsize park. Iy was a mothers help where i aided in the care of her three year old son and 10 month year old baby. this included entertaining them, bathing them, feeding them then putting them to sleep before tidying up, washing up dishes and hanging out clothes. so light housekeeping and mainly focused on the kids.
April 2016 - September 2016
For six months I worked with a mother and her three year old daughter. The majority of the work was done over the holidays and was from morning to night. I took sole charge of her everyday while her mother worked. This included bathing her, taking her and picking her up from school, taking her to extra curricular activities, feeding her and putting her to bed. The only reason for leaving is due to the commencing of my university studies. The family now works with my younger sister as they were happy with my work and wanted to find someone as trusting as they found me. I'm still in contact with the family so if any references are needed I can provide them.
