About Me
Hi I'm Karen and i love my job, I have two little boys of my own 14 & 11 who are fantastic role models for your little ones I am an experienced & registered childminder and NICMA insured, and you can find all my details, email and number etc on their site.
I offer a safe, inclusive,super fun & caring setting where your little one can play, grow and learn, building their confidence and friendships and helping them to grow and make independent choices while feeling safe and secure.
For you, mum and dad I provide a safe, nourishing and stimulating environment for your little ones and offer parents the reassurance of a fun, dependable, flexible home from home care, your little one comes first.
Our daily activities includes visits to playgroups, a great opportunity where your little ones learn to play, share, and make friends with others.
We enjoy lots of age appropriate indoor activities from play dough, creating with crazy sand, puzzles, hide and seek, shape sorting, reading, dancing & listening to music, drawing, arts and crafts using seasonal materials, sorting games, matching games, firing the imagination at small world play with castles and playmobile zoo to baking and lots more learning through fun.
On sunny days and not so sunny days as long as we have wellies and warm coat :) we just love to get outside, I have a large, enclosed and safe back garden with lots to entertain your little ones, we have jungle gyms cubby climbing frame and slide, playhouse with sensory musical toys and slide to exit, football nets, basketball net, trikes cars, a play sand area, chalks, swing ball etc. We love the outdoors and enjoy outings to age appropriate playparks, forest walks, beach visits often ro collect shells and make art, and visits to the museum and library, we have nature walks, playing in parks, investigating & playing in all weathers.
We also have some quiet time, story time and homework can be supervised for the older children.

I live in a detached bungalow in the Ashgrove area of Glengormley with an enclosed and safe back garden with lots of opportunity for outdoor and indoor play and lots of toys and activities to keep your little ones entertained.
