I am 39 years old, married and a mother of one gorgeous B 4 years old
I am currently working In a day nursery 40 hours a week and am looking to go back to nannying after 16 years at the nursery.
I am looking for a job with a family who are happy for me to bring my son to work with me.
I enjoy taking my little boy to soft play, out for walks and we love playing in the park. I am creative and enjoy being hands on creating works of art with the children at nursery and my son.
I enjoy cooking and like to give my son good home cooked meals his favourite at the moment is my chicken pie or shepherd's pie.
In my spare time, of which there isn't much being a working mum, I enjoy knitting, reading, doing puzzles and spending time with my extended family which is very important to me.
My Experience
Whilst doing my NNEB qualification I did lots of baby sitting for different aged children from 2 months to 5 years.
Once qualified I worked as a nanny for a family with 3 children aged 3m's, 2yrs and 4yrs for 4 years providing activities for each child. Taking them to different groups and cooking healty home cooked meals for them.
I now work at a day nursery where I have been for 16 years 9 months. I started as a nursery nurse in the baby room looking after babies from 3months -2years. I then became senior nursery nurse in the baby unit over seeing 5 other staff. I was promoted to deputy manager and moved into our pre-school unit with the 3-4 year olds. I have also spent a year as manager at our sister nursery when the manager was on maternity leave.
I am currently the Working in the baby unit and thoroughly enjoying being back with the babies.
I was also a brownie guide leader for approximately 15 years with girls age 7-10.5 years of age and enjoyed planning fun activities for the girls.
My Qualifications
I am NNEB qualified.
I have a paediatric first aid qualification.
Have done numerous child development courses during my time at my present job.
I have a CRB check.
My Availability
I am available to start work in September.
