About Me

Hi my name is Lynn. I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder . I have been registered since july 2007
I live in Ash Vale in a quiet cul de sac with my husband and 3 children. My son is 26 and my twin girls are 24. All have current DBS checks.

I also own two dogs (Chihuahua's) called Alfie and Milo. They have their own area in the house and garden during my working day as I appreciate some parents can be quite nervous about dogs being around their children.

I currently have a dedicated log cabin with toys to suit all ages. All access to the log cabin is secure and there is also a dedicated childrens garden where there are a variety of outside toys to choose from.

I pride myself that the care I offer to parents is a home from home environment. It is a relaxed environment where I run both adult and child led activities.

I will always work in partnership with the parents to ensure that their child is safe and happy.

I offer a friendly and welcoming environment where both parents and child feel at ease.

I visit local parks and encourage lots of outside play during the week, in order to allow your child to engage and interact with other children. It allows your child to build good social skills which is an integral part of their development.

We engage in lots of activities including singing, crafts and reading story books, I like to spend time outside with the children as it gives them a chance to get lots of fresh air and explore the world around them,

I believe that a child learns a lot through play and interaction with other children.

All your child's developmental progress is assessed and recorded using the Early Years Foundation Stage. All daily activities are recorded online via "Tapestry" where parents can view their child's profile and look at photos to see where we have been each day.
Parents are able to leave comments/feedback if they wish.

This form of communication between both parents and carer have been warmly received.

I currently offer funding for 2 year old children and 3/4 year old children and from 9 months old.
