My Summary
About Me
I've been a nanny for 20 years. Looked after children as young as newborns and I have many years of experience working with children age 0-12. I am a bubbly, trustworthy and hardworking individual.
My Experience
I have been working with children for the past 20 years. I looked after children as young as newborns and have many years of experience working with children age 0 to 12. I understand that the early years of a child’s life are vital as the stepping stones to their successful future. Because of that, I work hard to provide them with varied and stimulating activities that will promote their learning and development.
I have always done a very good job at balancing the interests/needs of children, ensuring they have the right amount of attention during the day.
As a fluent English speaker, I have no trouble communicating in a warm and professional manner with children and adults alike. I am punctual, responsible and always professional. My daily routines with the children always include arts, crafts and trips to the playground, playgroups, zoo and museums. Lots of indoor fun including reading, arts and other activities. I have always used a good balance of discipline, learning and fun.

Maggie is an exceptional nanny and we were so lucky to have her be a part of our family! Her attention to detail along with her work ethic is unmatched. I had to go back to work 8 weeks post partum and was very weary about anyone watching our brand new baby, but Maggie immediately earned our trust. She worked for us full-time and showed up early every single morning with out fail. She listened to our needs but also proactively suggested recommendations on how to further our baby's development. I also really respected and loved her professionalism and maturity as she would ask for feedback on a weekly basis and if there was anything she could do to improve things for our family. We had such open and honest communication going both ways which is key when you're leaving your baby in the care of someone. We never doubted that her number one priority was our child's health and safety, and in everything she did as it was very clear to see this. Our daughter loved spending time with her and we still keep in touch to this very day!
Maggie has been employed with us for almost 1 year, since April 2018, as part of a nanny share for 2 boys who were 13 months at the time. We are expecting our second baby, and our son will be starting nursery, thus circumstances are changing that we have had to make a difficult decision to make changes to our current nanny share arrangement.
Maggie has been a very important part of our lives. One of the most valuable qualities for us, as new parent’s, is the complete trust we have in her. The feeling of reassurance we have that our son is always well looked after and taken care of while we are at work, is something that we have valued more than anything else.
Maggie is extremely hard working, takes her role very seriously, is always on time, and has an immense amount of energy. She has always taken an interest in our son’s development and learning, encouraging his interests in books, drawing, crafts, music, as well as outdoor play and exploration. She managed to settle the 2 boys into a routine quite soon, and had them both napping at the same time, despite both boys not being sleep trained.
Maggie has become an important person in my son’s life. He is always happy to see her, and shows her respect, affection and admiration. From the start, Maggie has instilled an amazing balance of discipline and fun, and it has been heart warming to see them interact. With Maggie’s guidance, our son very quickly learnt important concepts like sharing and kindness, as well as good eating habits and table manners.
Maggie was a nanny for me and a friend for around 18 months. She was an excellent nanny for our 2 boys who were both 1 when she started. Maggie was very caring and we felt very comfortable going back to work and leaving our boys in her care.
Maggie also fitted well into our families and managed to juggle between the two houses effortlessly.
We were sad to let Maggie go and only did so as we both had our second babies. We remained friends with Maggie which I think speaks volumes. I would highly recommend her to any family with children of any age.
Maggie has been with our family for over five years and she has been the most amazing carer to our two children, since they were babies.
She is incredibly reliable and experienced, knowing how to manage every development stage for our son and daughter, often giving us the advice we need as parents also.
Maggie is both firm and fun with the children, she sets clear boundaries and puts importance on all the right things when it comes to their behaviour. She is also fun, energetic and entertains them with creative activities and time outside.
We have loved having her with us and sadly it is only through a change in our circumstances that we can no longer keep her.
Please contact me via Maggie for any further details. I would be happy to tell you more.
