About Me
I have always had a genuine love of children, so I trained to become a registered childminder 15 years ago and created my own business called Ladybird Tots.
I have 2 grown up children of my own who now have their own family, so I have been blessed with 3 beautiful grandsons. One daughter Abigail now works with me as my assistant. She has plenty of experience with children, for one having her own child and she previously worked in a child environment.
We feel it is important for parents to know that their children are safe and cared for just the same as I would treat my own grandchildren. Childminding is a home from home experience and we strive to deliver that daily. We enjoy helping the children with their development and preparing them for school.
I have 3 dachshund dogs who have been brought up around the children and are extremely friendly and gentle.
My Experience
I have previously worked in nurseries, pre schools and junior schools, so I have plenty of experience from 0-11 years of age.
My Qualifications
I am an Ofsted registered childminder with an assistant. We are DBS checked and have completed our first aid training in infants and adults. We are also trained in safeguarding children. We attend regular training sessions when required to renew our certificates and keep up to date with new policies and procedures.
My Availability
We have full and part time spaces available.
We do funded hours 9 months and 2/3/4 year funding and do school drop off and pick up if needed. We also offer the child free tax.
We work Monday-thursday 8am-5:30pm.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
Our hourly fee is £5.50 and £5.75 for school children which may increase depending on your specific requirements.
