Brilliant!

We found Sammy through a family recommendation and we couldn't be happier. Sammy is kind, friendly and super reliable. She has a wonderful relationship with my daughter Rose who absolutely loves going to her of a week. My daughter will often ask to go to Sammy's during the holidays and weekends. She's been a wonderful childminder to our 3 year old and I will be really sad when the time comes to move on. You won't regret using Sammy for your child. We've had a great experience and couldn't be more grateful for the peace of mind she offers.

5* childminding service

Words cannot describe how grateful we are to have had Sam in ours and our daughters life to help develop her into the happy, kind and confident girl she is! Connie joined Sam a very shy 1 year old with attachment issues and separation anxiety. Dropping her off in the morning... there was always tears from the both of us! But Sam was so patient, caring and loving towards her from day 1 Connie soon settled. Sam kept us constantly updated in regards to day time activities, her healthy meals and water intake mile stones and sent lovely photos through to show how much fun Connie was having which helped put our mind at ease - Sam always communicated with us and constantly kept us in the loop - Her home is a happy, family home and immaculate! Connie was always coming home happy and full of smiles. Sam helped us so much not just professionally but on a personal level to when my Mum had a stroke, she would go above and beyond to help us, changing drop off and pick up times to try to accommodate hospital visits etc. Connie has now started school and is excelling in her phonics, language and letter/number formation. I can honestly say that if it wasn't for Connie being with Sam full time and all the care and attention that she showed Con emotionally but also through educational activities and play, I don't think she would be as doing as well as she is at the moment. Her confidence since starting with Sam has grown so much and she is a happy, healthy confident little girl due to her amazing start with Sam. Super nanny

Sammy looked after our little boy myles from when he was 7 weeks old till he turned 4 and left her for school. Sammy has always been professional, approachable and I know she’s looked after him as if he where one of her own ♥️

Second Home!

All I can say is Sammy is amazing! Her home is like a second home for my son and we love her. My little boy was born during the height of lock down so we were very worried about leaving him etc.. as he had not met many people especially children. Sammy was amazing and put our minds at ease straight away, she allowed our little one to come in for a few hours every day so he was used to her and the children. Since he started he has come on leaps and bounds. He is now talking, playing and sharing. This is down to Sammy and her amazing skills with children. She is an absolute god send. She treats the kids like they are her own. We would not want him with anyone else! Thank you Sammy :) xx

Sammy is just Amazing

Sammy regularly had my son (7) and my daughter (5) and she is absolutely brilliant with them. They do all sorts indoors and out and the kids just love it. Honestly if your looking for a local child minder then Sammy is your woman.

HOME FROM HOME

My son Benjamin age 3 has been with Sammy for over a year now. We as a family love how amazing Sammy is with Benjamin. We were so worried at first deciding on a childminder over a nursery, but as soon as we meet Sammy at her house our worries went away within seconds with how welcoming she and her family were and how clean her home is and Sammy is so well organised. Sammy was recommended to us by a mutual friend .
She is amazing with our son who loves his time at Sammy's and will even ask on weekends to see his Sammy. He has formed a brilliant relationship with Sammy and her family. Benjamin's farvourite part is the trips to the allotment he has brought many plants and veg home that he and the other children have grown. The communication and updates is great especially the pictures of what the children have done I love seeing pictures of the activities Benjamin has taken part in. Best of all is listening to Benjamin the pure happyness in his voice when he is telling us about his day with Sammy.
We would be lost without Sammy she is like wonder woman.

Highly recommend for childcare!

Sammy is amazing at what she does. The care for the children come first above all. Her home is my daughter's second. My daughter comes home full of fun and laughter, and it's a lovely sight. Highly recommend!!

My very own Mary poppins!

Sammy has been a god send to have. My children are currently with her and she took them on last minute when I was in a very awkward time.
The children love her and so do I.
We class her basically as family now.
The children go to play groups, days out they play with arts and crafts and enjoy every day they are with her.
Id recommend Sammy to absolutely anyone!

Wonderful

Sammy is a wonderful Childminder my little girls loves her and her family it's like her second home. She has settled in really well and loves all the other little ones Sammy looks after. She is great with all the kids and is always doing activities and keeping them busy. My little girl and come on so much being around Sammy and the others and she always asking for her when were at home.

Fantastic Childminder

Sammy provides an after school service for my two little ones. She collects them from school and provides a safe, fun and caring environment for them until I can collect them from work. They have lots of fun at Sammy’s and get involved in a variety of activities such as arts and crafts, outdoor play, messy play and seasonal activities around Halloween, Christmas, Mother’s and Father’s Day. I don’t feel as though I’m using a childminder, I feel as though my two are being looked after by a member of family. Sammy’s home is warm and welcoming and my kids love going. They get on well with Sammy’s kids as well which is great. I have no reservations at all in recommending her childminding services. She really is a great childminder.

Home from home

Sammy has been taking care of my little girl Millie for around 1 year now, Millie has always loved going there, even at the start Sammy had her settled in in no time, she’s never got upset staying which makes it so much easier leaving her. Sammy goes above and beyond for the children and their parents, she is so helpful and flexible even my son started going for breakfast because he didn’t want to miss out. Sammy always sends lovely pictures and messages throughout the day to both mum and dad which we love because we can see how happy Millie is going there, it really is a home from home and Sammy loves the kids as much as they love her, everywhere is always spotless, the kids love her food so I never worry that their going hungry, she takes them to play groups and also has an alotment where the children learn lots and grow their own veg, I couldn’t recommend her enough, she really is amazing.

Makes you feel totally at ease as a parent

My little florrie was with Sammie for just over a year.....initially she was in a nursery and had a bad experience and just would not go back that’s when I was recommended to Sammie. Straight away she welcomed me into her home to sign some forms and I could see the children that where already there where so content and happy.
For me I felt as if florrie was going to a home from home environment, she no longer cried when she was leaving me which was a big bonus as it meant I didn’t have to worry...Sammie always kept me informed if florrie became poorly or she wasn’t quite right etc. As a parent I just felt totally at ease, I trusted Sammie 1000% and so did my child and I think that speaks volumes in itself....she was heartbroken when she had to leave Sammie to them join school nursery and she still misses her now. Florrie was treated like part of Sammie’s family and I can’t stress enough how good that made me feel...if your child’s happy your happy it’s as simple as that !!! I can’t reccomend Sammie enough and won’t be hesitating if I have another child to give it straight to her when I go back to work....she is one in a million thanks Sammie for all your hard work and time and effort you put into our children.

Fabulous childminder *****

Sammy has looked after my 2 children over the last few years and they love her. Sammy goes above and beyond for the kids she minds and the families involved. Sammy treats every child the same and attends to their different needs. The kids talk about her all the time as if she is part of our family and ask to even go of a weekend.
Sammy takes the kids to the local farm, library, parks and gardens, zoo and Martin Mere. Sammy will involve all the children and will even do the trip twice the same week so they have all had a share of the experience.
Sammy always send us messages throughout the day and tells us information about our children and what they have been up too.
My children come home with Easter bonnets, mothers day and Fathers day cards, Valentines cards all made by my children. Sammy involves the children in different religious celebrations also including Chinese New Year and Ramadan. My children have learnt a lot from Sammy and she puts so much time into them. They have learnt good manners, respect and good values. Sammy has 3 beautiful children of her own and that shows how much of a fantastic person and mum she is and what kind of a person she is outside of her work, she is selfless. Sammy is not only our children's childminder but a life long friend now. I am so lucky to of been pointed in her direction for our children.
We will miss you but will see you every half term and holidays xxxxxxxxx

Excellent service

My son has been in sammy’s care since he was 7 months old..he is now 3!
Finding the right childminder to care for your child is a difficult task to undertake for any parent. After a couple of home visits and settling in periods my son was in her care for 3 full days per week.
Sammy’s home is always clean to the highest of standards and there are a wide variety of toys and activities the children can get involved with.
Organisation is the key to a working parent and a childminder having a good relationship which is definitely what you will find here!
There will most certainly be tears when he starts nursery and leaves Sammy’s care! My son loves going and in fact asks to go at the weekend too!
I have recommended Sammy to friends over the years and will continue to do so over many more years!

Sammy has looked after our son for the last 2 years now. Having known her and her family since i was a child i was comfortable in leaving my child in her care but as ive never used a childminder before i wasnt too sure what to expect.
From day 1 Sammy has remained professional and has formed a bond with my child which i see has grown massively over the last 2 years.
The range of activities sammy does is amazing, her home is immaculate, warm and welcoming to a point even i could stay and play all day, especially in her fabulous garden in summertime.
Being full time working parents is hard going but getting little pictures and updates now and again of how much fun my little one is having puts my mind at ease.
Seeing my child grow from a 1 year old baby to a chatty little 3 year old ready to start school nursery makes me burst with pride and i cant thank Sammy enough for the help, advice and support shes given.....which is why we are keeping her another year :-) .

My son had been going to Sammys now since September 2016.

I find Sammy very flexible as she minds my son of a morning and will take him to school nursury of an afternoon.

He absolutely loves going of a morning and playing and learning with all the children.

Sammy's house is very big and spacious, clean and practical for all the children. As well as all the toys and crafts inside my son especially enjoys to play in the garden. The children have chalk boards a playhouse which is brilliant and my son loves to explore planting plants and playing in the sand pit.

My son starts full time school in September but as I am pregnant I will defiantly be giving Sammy enough notice for when I return to ensure my baby will be in a safe and caring environment and I know will be greatly looked after.

5* childminder

Returning to work full time and having a new baby is a very challenging decision to make, (would my child get enough attention? Would she be happy? How would I feel being separated from my child?
I met with various child care providers having a variety of questions that suited our needs. I instantly got the feeling of ease and security from Sammy as she had a full understanding with me having worries of leaving our baby at such a you d age. she was equipped with many answers to our queries and also give me contacts to speak to other parents (past and present) for references for me to access.

We had settling in dates to ensure Myself, husband, sammy and my child felt comfortable by the time I went back full time hours. I was very much at ease. Sammy goes above and beyond to make us feel that our child is being looked after by demonstrating she cares. Sammy is very thorough with paper work which shows me my daughters progress and also cooperates with policy and produces that was initially produced to us when we first met.

Her home is very clean and organised and her children she has are really polite and caring towards our child. There is a large variety of things for the children to do, (staying in the house to access all child centred equipment or go out and using play groups or community services). No day seems to be the same, therefor I feel confident my child is getting a range of activities each day she attends.

We have exciting text updates throughout the day which shows us snippets of our child's day. She always seems very happy. And doesn't come home hungry or upset. Overall. Sammys approach with ourselves and daughter is above expectations. We can not have wished for a better childminder.

My son has been with Sammy for a year and a half now and he's absolutely loves it. I moved him from his nursery when he was just over 1 as I didn't feel comfortable leaving him in nursery. I expressed my concerns to Sammy when I had the original meeting with her and she assured me my son would be fine. Sure enough my son had taken to her straight away and had no problems settling into to a new routine wither her.
He loves being around her children too he calls all 3 of them his best friends.
Sammy takes the children on days out and adventures which my son loves!
He has come on so much since being in Sammys care, and is so settled. It is because of this that we have chosen to keep my son with Sammy for another year which means he will only leave Sammys care when he has to go into full time school.
Sammy send updates and pictures throughout the day so you always get to see your children's adventures whilst in work which always puts your mind at rest.
I would recommend Sammy to any of my friends and family and will be most definitely using her for my second child.
