Im 34 years old, i am confident, easy going, enthusiastic, bubbly and a happy people person i am also hard working and always willing to learn new things and increase my knowledge. I have lots of experience in childcare I started at the age of 16 my first nursery I worked at for 10 years where I gained my level 2,3 and 4 in child care. I did fancy a change so I went on to do care in the community and the elderly and also in a care home however I missed child care so much that I had to go back
I had a job as a room leader in a nursery but it was maternity cover so unfortunately only lasted a year
I then worked at another nursery as a baby room leader where I worked four and a half days the only reason I left was I moved and the driving proved tricky so had to change jobs .
Currently at a setting where I am the deputy manager I’m Montessori trained.
Objective i enjoy looking after and caring for children being able to give them the best start in life is so rewarding to watch the grow up and thrive
I’m an affectionate person so cuddles and story time will be a given.

I love to take part in messy play activities allow children to enjoy the process and create their own expressive product to share.
I feel children should have the opportunity to explore the natural environment around them building their resilience confidence and helping to adapt their learning and development
Hobbies and interests
I like reading, listening to music haven't a particular type I like to sing or should I say try
I like meeting new people,weekend walks learning new things, love animals spending time with friends and family I also like to taking part in scrapbooking and crafts , sewing
My Experience
Work history
For 10 years i have been at a nursery. Looking after babies to school age. During that time i have worked as part of a team looking after and supporting staff and students, looking after children, following the early year foundation stage, health and safety,safe guarding children and the data protection act, making sure that children are being looked after at the highest level of standards at all times and safe whilst in mine and other staffs care, supporting the children in learning and development, widening and extending their knowledge. I also have worked with students allowing them to do their training with us helping them with learning and development for future career paths. I make sure that i maintain equal opportunities, confidentiality, health and safety at all times in a happy and friendly environment. Other jobs room leader deputy manager, cooking, cleaning, answering the phones, dealing with messages or queries, booking in and showing visits around, working face to face with members of the public such as outside agencies and parents with in the day to day running of the setting, I have also had experience in working with children with specials educational needs .
I have been a deputy manager and joint manager of a setting.

NVQ Level 2,3 and 4 in early years care and education.
Montessori training
i have undergone are - first aid, food hygiene, safe guarding, COSH ( control of substances hazardous to health regulations) SEN ( special needs )
My Availability
Depending on the right job offer I would be very flexible to suit the family
full time would be amazing , I would also do part time two family’s .
