About Me
I have reopened my childminding business after my youngest child started school. I run a home from home setting making sure the kids feel comfortable and secure.I have lots of resources and fun activities from painting to cooking. I have many parks and farms close by and try to get out every day weather permitting, my kids love picking there own fruit and vegetables from the local farm or having a go at growing them themselves. There are also lots of dance groups, music groups and toddler groups in walking distance.
I keep a weekly diary with pictures and notes to share with parents to keep them upto date with their child's activities and achievements.I also have food diaries if parents wish to receive this as well.
I live in the area to collect from St Monica Primary school. I can also collect from Happy Bunnies Pre - school or Spring Road Pre-School.
My Experience
I have been childminding since 2007, I currently have two 1yr olds and a 3yr old during the day and have been running a breakfast and after school collection since September 2015. I have looked after a wide range of children aged from 6 weeks to 12 years. I also have four children of my own ranging from 8yrs to 18yrs old
My Qualifications
I qualified for childminding in 2007 and i am ofsted registered, I have completed my latest first aid course with st John's ambulance service.
I am a member of twinkle which gives me access to alsorts of rescources to keep me upto date with pre-school and school course work and activities.
I am a member of Tapestry which offers me all kinds of resources and keeps me upto date with ofsted and helps me give your child a daily care dairy you can view their photos securely online.
I'm in close contact with southampton city councils Prospects and attend all the childminding meetings.
I also offer flexi care for older children.
I have completed a signing course to help young children and babies to communicate.
I have completed a course in Ecat ( every child a talker).
I also have the experince of being a mum of four.
My Availability
Monday to Friday 8am til 6.30pm preferably term time only but hours can be negotiated. Only Part time hours available.
