About Me
I live in Bedlington with my husband and two children in a large detached house with separate playroom and large enclosed back garden. I have always worked with children and I enjoy offering a wide range of stimulating activities to suit all age groups. I follow the early years foundation stage curriculum and work closely with parents to ensure children are achieving their potential within a safe , secure, funloving environment.
I have a basic work ethos ; simply to treat children as I would want my children treat.
My Experience
I have worked as a childcare practitioner for over twenty years. I trained as a nursery nurse for two years and have experience in private settings and part of the management team for a large nursery chain. I have been a childminder for nearly 8 years and as a mum understand the importance of high quality childcare.
My Qualifications
Btech National Diploma in caring services nursery nursing
Training in first aid, early years foundation stage , music and movement ,equal opportunities, food hygiene, safeguarding , schemas .
I undertake on going training throughout the year.
I was awarded outstanding for my last inspection .
