About Me
Hi I'm Laura,
I am a registered childminder offering high quality home from home childcare for children 0-5 years. I will also be providing wrap around care for school aged children.
I am inspired by the curiosity approach and Reggio Emilia, I like to help extend children’s imagination and creativity skill through their play.
My Experience
I have nearly sixteen years early years experience in a nursery/school setting. During this time I have looked after several SEN children, I have worked alongside families and professionals to receive training and help the children reach their full potentials.
I am a mum to my 6 year old daughter and 10 month old son, so have lots of my own real life experience as well as working in a nursery/school setting.
I am available for ad hoc babysitting and overnight care with enough notice.
I have several references from families that I have cared for which you are able to see on request.
My Qualifications
I have 9 GCSE's, 2 A levels and an NVQ Level 2 + 3 in Children and young people's workforce.
I am also a fully qualified HLTA (level 4).
I have completed a diploma in 'autism awareness in education' and received various training such as Safeguarding, paediatric first aid, food hygiene, basic makaton, intensive interaction, behaviour management, attention autism, team teach, Nutricia tube feeding, SEN, PEC, ABA

I occasionally may have ad hoc places, especially during school holidays.
