About Me
I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder ,I work alongside my daughter who is an Ofsted Registered Childminder and holds an advanced diploma in childcare and education.I have a dedicated playroom set up for the children to enjoy. I have a large enclosed garden with play equipment for the children to use. I am a mother of six children and grandmother to nine children.
My setting is a caring, safe and homely environment which children flourish in all areas of development. The children are offered a range of arts and crafts activities as well as cooking activities on a daily basis.
I follow the EYFS , I CAN program ( which works to help all children develop their speaking and listening skills)and the Letters and Sounds program which concentrates on developing children's speaking and listening skills and lays the foundations for the phonics.
My Experience
I have over 27years experience working with children of all ages. I have worked in schools and nurseries. I have been childminding 20 years and counting!
My Qualifications
I have attended many courses including first aid and safeguarding.
My Availability
My setting is open from 7.30-6.00
Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday and Thursday.
I offer Full-Time,Part -Term and Term-Time.

We have known Susan and Victoria since 2016.
My eldest who is now four sees them as extended family and my youngest who was first looked after by Sue at just three months is equally as comfortable in their setting.
Right from the very first visit I have been impressed by their warmth, enthusiasm, professionalism and dedication towards the children in their care. I never feel rushed by them at drop off/pick up and an added bonus is that since I have known them I can't recall a time that they have cancelled a childcare day or taken an unexpected holiday.
Both have a longstanding background in childcare and this really comes across in the way the day is structured, the range of play activities on offer and most importantly how well information is communicated to parents. The children get to experience the things they would at nursery such as circle time, arts and crafts, sports days and cultural activities whilst still getting the personal attention that comes with being in a homely environment meaning you get the best of both worlds!
As a Speech and Language Therapist who has worked as a consultant supporting early years carers, I feel that I can write with some confidence about the exceptional quality of their service.

I was looking for a childminder for a couple of mornings a week for my son Felix who was 18 months at the time.
I met quite a few but when I met Sue and her daughter Victoria (who work together and are both qualified and very experienced childminders) I knew straight away that Felix would feel happy there.
Their house feels warm and welcoming, they have a huge garden which Felix loves playing in. Their lounge is almost like a mini nursery with a range of toys but also the walls are decorated with pictures the children have drawn and so it feels all very inspiring.
A lot of childminders I have met were nice but they didn't feel as dedicated, professional and lovely as Sue and Victoria. When the children arrive they sing a song every morning and have some mat time. They paint with them, play with them and even cook with them from time to time.
Sue and Victoria look after children of a range of ages and so it was great for Felix to mix and play with different children of different ages.
They have been so good to him - it took a little while for him to settle as he had never been without me but they made him feel at ease and were very patient and loving towards him. He is now having such a good time there.
Due to professional reasons, we have to leave London and it will be so sad to say goodbye to them. They have really helped Felix grow and develop in a very loving atmosphere - you couldn't ask for more.
I would highly recommend them - they are absolutely wonderful.
