About Me
My name is Sharon Farrow I am a registered childminder living in Lincoln. I am married to Stephen we have six of our own children ranging from the ages of 23 to 39 years old, all left home now.
We are a animal loving family with one friendly Labrador Harvey, we also have a cat called Lilly.The children are free in interact with the animals which builds there confidence within a safe enviornment.
I provid quality childcare in a home from home enviornment. . I have a large playroom with a good selection of indoor and outdoor toys for all ages, which I am always expanding.
I encourage independence, choice and cofidence building through free play whilst providing organised activities such as crafts, play dough, baking, story time and much more.
We also take regular trips to local parks, toddlers, soft play areas where the children get to make new friends and interact with other children.
I also use watts app to keep in contact daily and to send pictures.
My Experience
I have worked as a children's nanny since leaving school at 17 after having my own child I wanted a career change so childminding seemed the perfect choice. Now with 45 years experience I love my job helping children to develop and thrive.
As I am a parent myself and with working for so many years I have experienced all aspects of looking after children.
My Qualifications
NVQ 3 in childcare
Ofsted Registered
Paediatric First Aid Certificate
CBR Disclosure
Full Clean Driving Licence
Food Hygiene Certifcate
Safeguarding
I also take part in a first aid course every three years and fours courses every year to keep myself up to date. My assistance also take part in a first aid course every three years. Also everybody over the age of 16 within my house have a CBR/DBS Disclosure.

I am happy to pick up and drop off children going to Hartsholme Primary School however I am unable for any other local Schools.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
My hourly fee is £5.00 an hour
I am happy to provided meals for an extra charge which can be discussed. Or for parents to provided lunch which I can store/ heat accordingly.
I also provided drinks and snacks for no extra fee.
My Local Schools

My children have been going to Sharon for nearly 8 years now from the age of 1 and they absolutely love her. They now go to her before and after school and during the holidays. I feel lucky that we found such a caring, dedicated childminder. During the school holidays they can’t wait to go to Sharon and Stephen as they always put on activities and take them out on adventures. Even before and after school they are busy playing games, crafting etc. Sharon and Stephens house is a great setting with lots of toys, book, crafts etc and a lovely big garden for them to play. I would highly recommend Sharon and Stephen to anyone looking for a childminder and feel my children have benefitted hugely from being in their care.
