I worked with the same family for 9 years. And since then have been floating for numerous families from the same school doing holiday cover and help when needed
My Experience
I enjoy preparing nutritious meals for the children in my care. In addition, I love to organise play-dates, outings and age applicable social activities that help build the confidence of the children
I have loved children from a young age, my Mother came from a family of seven girls and four boys, and I have two younger siblings so the house has always been full of kids. As I was one of the eldest, I often had to look after the younger ones and this is how my passion for child care first began. I have two grown up children of my own. Also 2 grandsons my eldest grandson aged 5 has Autism so I’m up to date on care for a child with Autism my responsibilities, to include; dressing, assisting with and organising the children’s belongings, making sure homework has been completed, making their packed lunches, tidying/ cleaning up after the children, cleaning the kitchen after preparing meals for the whole family and any messy activities, wash and ironing the children’s clothes and ensure they are clean and presentable. Overall, I take full accountability for the children’s safety

Level 1 in Childcare for Early years & young people
Level 2 in Childcare for Early years & young people.

I am looking for a part time position. I am also free Saturday and Sunday
I can work evenings
I am available for work now and don’t mind short contracts
