About Me
Hi, I Am married and have a Grown up Son & a very old Cat.
I have recently completed my Childminding qualification (2024) allowing me to offer the Government funding, based in WD3 5BQ area.
I enjoy working with children and assisting with their development using a range of activities, I enjoy watching & teaching children to be creative with different materials i.e. Pens & Paints to assist with hand and eye co-ordination skills, making models using glue etc to bring out their creative abilities, I personally enjoy baking so enjoy passing this skill onto the children as children love to be creative and see what they have achieved.
I like reading to the children as well as listening to them read, in my spare time I also like reading.
My spare time is spent (when there is some!) baking/cooking/entertaining for friends and family, knitting, reading, gardening and spending quality time with my husband and son.

My Experience
I worked as a Nanny for three families before I changed career path (due to personal reasons rafter getting married) my first family was a boy (3) & a girl (9months) my contracted ended when this family moved abroad. Second family were twin boys (3 1/2) and a girl (2) this family were preparing for the loss of the father and it was a very emotional time for them and I was required during a very stressful time in their lives. My third family consisted of a share after the second family lost the father and were preparing to move away, family 3 were two boys (3 & 4 1/2)
Career break for sometime.
In 2011 I went back to childcare as a childminders assistant doing all the same tasks as the childminder and then organising the daily creative activities, also doing afternoon school runs in the Three Rivers area, during which time I built a wonderful relationship with many of the children and their parents.
I recently completed the Childminding qualification (2024)
I’ve been working as an Ofsted registered Nanny. I’ve been with my current family now for over 9 years but the eldest child is at secondary school so only have her younger sister before and after school in the WD3 area.

I am extremely experience with caring for a child with Type 1 Diabetes and also experience with children with anaphylactics. I like to attend as many course which are relevant to this professional so am constantly updating my portfolio for piece of mind of you the parents and the benefit of your children when they are in my care.
Currently trying to arrange an Anaphylactic shock awareness course.
