Our son has been with Yvonne since he was 4 months old he started just before Covid hit and we all went into lock down, which was a strange time for us all. During lock down Yvonne would keep in touch and send videos of her reading to the children so that she was still present in their lives. Returning to normality was a smooth transition as Yvonne is so warm and nurturing with the children, it was a home away from home.

Our son thrived as the stimulation Yvonne provides in her setting is by far the best I’ve seen. We had some concerns over his speech development however, Yvonne had referred him early so that if it continued he would already be under the professionals when he needed it the most. Luckily he was discharged within the 1st session and I believe this is down to the time and commitment Yvonne gave to him, to ensure he was meeting his milestones.

Since then he has made leaps and bounds with his reading, writing, counting and social skills. Yvonne never stops, if she hasn’t got a million things set up at home or in the garden for them to enjoy she is out at groups, organised activities or day trips to the zoo, soft play etc.

Our son is at his last day today with Yvonne as he starts school next week and, although this is a sad time as we will all miss her very much, we are so very grateful for her having been in our lives. Our son is very much ready for School thanks to Yvonne!

Yvonne is kind, caring, nurturing, supportive, fun, attentive, patient, encouraging, calm, knowledgable, firm, understanding… the list is endless.

The setting is clean, tidy, welcoming and her family are a credit to her. I would not hesitate to recommend Yvonne to anyone i speak to, she is truly outstanding at her job.

We will miss you Yvonne, if we ever have another they will be signed up before they are born!
