My daughter Jessica has been with Yvonne since 2015 and I am really impressed how Yvonne has brought Jessica on in many ways. Jessica had trouble with her speech which? Yvonne brought to my attention. Yvonne who has training in speech therapy has spent lots of time with Jessica helping her with her phonics counting and general speech. Yvonne also advised me how to get extra professional speech therapy for Jessica and lent me games and books to help Jessica at home. Even when Jessica started nursery Jessica still carried on going to Yvonne's twice a week because it benefited her so much. Yvonne continued helping Jessica with her speech and Yvonne always has very good and interesting activities planned for the children in her care and has taught Jessica lots of social skills table manners and to be kind and respectful to other children and adults around her. Yvonne writes and puts photos in a book of all the things Jessica has done through the day so that I know what Jessica has been doing and Jessica and I like looking at the book together and talking about Jessica's day. All the things Yvonne has taught Jessica has made Jessica very well prepared for her transition from childminder/ nursery to school in September. I would thoroughly reckoned Yvonne as a child minder to anyone and I know that Jessica is going to miss going to Yvonne's. However I know that when Jessica starts school in September she will be starting with confidence and good social skills thanks to all Yvonne's hard work and care whilst Jessica has been with her.Jessica and I would like to thank Yvonne very much and know that Yvonne will remain a good childminder to us in the future.
