My Requirements

We are looking for a wonderful nanny with lots of energy and an inclusive, ‘can do’ attitude to help us find better balance with our 3 wonderful children.

The main care would be for our 1 year old who is a cheeky, energetic soul. He loves being outdoors, books, dinosaurs. He is hearing impaired and is predominately picking up BSL so any experience of working with deaf children would be ace but more importantly is a lovely nature and willingness to learn. There would also be some care of our 5 year old who is autistic and home educated. He is a joy to be around and you will soon know everything there is to know about animals, Lego and Minecraft. Our eldest is at school and there will be little to no need for care for him - although you will be missing out as he is the most lovely boy you have met.

It’s essential that our nanny is nurturing, kind and patient. We believe children should have plenty of time to explore the outdoors and have family passes to various zoos/gardens etc that would be accessible for our nanny to use. Both boys adore animals and we do have a friendly family dog and pet rabbits.

Additionally as both our boys are disabled we would welcome any experience with SEND/deafness/ASC but full training and lots of support will be given.

Hours wise, I’d like to be able to continue to work so would be looking for a minimum of 15 hours but I am in a lucky position that my job is fairly flexible and with the right nanny, we would be happy to consider a range of hours / working patterns. I only work term time so we could offer a TTO post or continue through the holidays to give me a much appreciated helping hand over the hols.
