Hi, I’m Nikki. I live in Shefford with my husband and our daughter. I am a bubbly, kind, caring and enthusiastic person. I take pride in my job working with children and strive to provide excellent childcare. I am passionate about providing a warm and nurturing home from home childcare setting where children have the environment to thrive. I thoroughly enjoy looking after children and watching them grow and develop.
My Experience
I have experience looking after newborns to teenagers. I have worked in nursery settings and as a sole charge private nanny in London. I have a great understanding and knowledge of the EYFS and how to guide children to reach their full potential. I have experience working with multiple children, weaning, potty training, help with sleep and teaching to read/ phonics. I am extremely organised and love to plan fun, educational and stimulating activities for children. I enjoy being outdoors and taking the children to parks, playgrounds, days out and finding lots of fun activities in nature. I make healthy meals and love to include the children in helping prepare meals and baking. I really enjoy celebrating the seasons and different cultural festivals, I have a passion for arts and crafts and I always encourage children to be creative and have fun.
I have a garden with a mud kitchen for children to enjoy and get messy, I have a tuff tray which I use to plan different themed activities, a range of wooden toys, cars, duplo, musical instruments and lots of books.
