About Me
I have been an Ofsted registered childminder since October 2010. I live in the pretty village of West Peckham, just outside Hadlow and Mereworth, a two-minutes drive from Seven Mile Lane/B2016 and the A26 - giving easy access to Kings Hill, Maidstone, Tonbridge and the surrounding area. The village is surrounded by woodland, countryside and farms and offers a pretty village green. All providing an excellent setting for some of our outdoor activities and learning.
I live with my partner, my son born in 2006 (when he is home from university) and daughter born in 2009.
My home is a home from home environment offering a safe, friendly, spacious and welcoming space with a good sized enclosed rear garden with slides, bikes, trikes and numerous other resources for all ages, with plenty of room for children to explore and run around.
I aim to work in partnership with parents/careers and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Promoting each child's individual needs and interests, with plenty of indoor and outdoor toys and activities.
During term time we attend a weekly Forest School session, a music and movement class and local childminder groups. We regularly meet up with other childminders to interact and form friendships with other children of similar ages. We enjoy a wide range of age-related activities to include play, story time, singing, messy play, play dough, arts & crafts, sand & water, gardening etc. Each child is allowed to develop their own interests at their individual stage of development.
I believe outdoor play is very important and much of our time is spend outside, either in the garden, or on regular visits to parks, woods, farms, Hever Castle, National Trust etc.

My Experience
I have been a registered childminder since 2010, as well as a mum to my own two children.
Most of my little ones have started with me as babies and have stayed until they have started school. Some I have been lucky enough to continue minding once they start school, either after school and/or during the school holidays.

0800 - 1800 Monday to Thursday inclusive
I take children on a full or part time basis throughout the year.
I also provide term time only care.
Due to little ones leaving me to start school, I have a space, three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) all year from September 25.
