About Me

Unfortunately I am not taking on any babies or preschoolers at the moment. Before and after school care is still being offered though.

Free early years funding and childcare vouchers are accepted.

Before and after school care provided for children attending The Oaks and St Peters primary School.

Hello my name is Anita and I have been a Registered Childminder with Ofsted for more than 5 years now.

I have a very strong background in care as I have worked as a carer, a field care supervisor and more recently a Health and Social Care Assessor, but due to the long hours and the problems I faced myself with regards to childcare, I decided to become a childminder again so I could help other families who face the same difficulties whilst also being there for my own family.

I have 4 beautiful children who's ages range from 12 to 25, all still living at home and I also own a small dog called Ollie. I have a nice sized living room which is used as a play room during minded hours and a nice sized kitchen which is used as an activity room during minded hours so the children can draw, paint, colour, explore various types of messy play and much more, as well as having somewhere to sit and dine at meal times.

Children are also be provided with a variety of stimulating toys, games and activities both indoors and outdoors as the setting has a free flow approach so the children can chose what they would like to play with and where.

Each week we also be attend groups such as Tumble Tots and Tiny Talk as baby/toddler sign is very much promoted within the setting. We also try to attend a playgroup each week which is set in the beautiful woodlands, so the children can get up close with nature whilst they play and explore.

We also visit parks, libraries, farms, soft play areas and many more places depending on the topics we are exploring and the interests of the children.
