About Me
Hello, I’m Sarah, I’m 35 and live in Buntingford. I have been working in childcare for the past 17 years. I am a fun, kind, caring and responsible nanny.
I have 2 of my own children and I am currently on maternity leave from my nanny role where I have been for the last 6 years. Unfortunately my role has come to a natural end as the children are now older and the family no longer require the same level of care as before.
I am looking for part time work ideally anytime from September/October 2024 onwards but can be flexible with this.
My Experience
After leaving college in 2007 I worked within private day nurseries for 11 years. I started off as a Nursery Nurse in a baby room and progressed through different roles working my way up to being a Manager of a nursery.
In April 2018 I began nannying for a family in Broxbourne, looking after a boy, 3 and girl, 1. This role was full time over 4 days. This is the role I am currently on maternity leave from.
Alongside this role in 2018/2019 I nannied for a very busy family with 4 children, a girl, 10 and 3 boys, 7, 4 and 1 years old. 1 day a week for just over a year.
From September 2022 up until my maternity leave January 2024, alongside my main nanny role I nannied for a family 1 day a week for a 1 year old girl.

My Qualifications
CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Child Care and Education
Paediatric First Aid Trained
DBS checked and on the update service

Food Hygiene
First Aid at Work
Designated Safeguarding Lead
Fire Warden
Prevent Duty
I have a full clean UK driving licence
I have previously been Ofsted registered for a family to make use of the tax free childcare scheme. Willing to register again.
My Availability
Open to discussion and not just limited to what availability I’ve selected. My youngest (6 months) will potentially need to come with me depending on days & timings etc. I can be flexible so please do contact me to discuss your needs.
