About Me
Hello I'm Tara and I'm an OFSTED registered Childminder.
I drop off and collect from Cragside Primary School, High Heaton, NE7 7QS
I offer wraparound care during term time for school aged children.
I am also a Learning Support Assistant at Cragside Primary School. This works well as I am able to build positive relationships with children and their families as well as being able to offer a provision that compliments the experiences gained at school.
I'm in walking distance of Cragside Primary School and I have a good working relationship with other local childminders.
My Experience
I have over 25 years experience of working with children and families in roles that are inclusive of nanny, playgroup assistant/leader, childminder, learning support assistant, playworker in an out of school club and being a mum!
As a Learning Support Assistant I have worked across school from Reception through to Year 6, having this hands on experience and overview of children's learning and development has had a positive impact on my childminding provision.
My Qualifications
I hold a Level 3 childcare qualification in Children's Care, Learning and Development.
I keep up to date with all training that is a required by OFSTED aswell as attending non statutory training, eg, Autism Awareness, Children's Counselling, Role of the Keyworker
My Availability
I offer term time only childcare which consists of before and after school sessions for children who attend Cragside Primary School, NE7 7EL
Currently, I am fully booked.
From September 2023 I have the following availability:

After school places available Monday and Friday

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
I charge £5 per hour per child - there is a minimum 2 hour charge for after school
Breakfast £1.50
Tea £2.50
My payment terms are monthly in advance.
Payment is by BACS, childcare vouchers, tax free childcare
