Hi,
We are a mum and daughter registered with SCWIS to work together as childminders in Rutherglen. We were first registered in January 2011 and are members of the SCMA. Mum has 4 grown up children and I'm currently on maternity leave with my 3rd. My two boys were born December 2009 and 2014 and our little girl was born April 2019.
Some of the things we provide are :
Walks and play in the local park
Wide selection of toys for various ages
Access to a garden
We attend Bookbug on a Tuesday and toddler group on a Wednesday
We are available Monday to Thursday between the hours of 8.30 and 5pm.

We have been registered as childminders since January 2011. Mum has 4 grown up children while I have 3 young children. The two oldest are at St Columbkilles Primary while the baby was born in April 2019. I completed an HNC in Early Education and Childcare in June 2009.

6 years ago we anxiously searched for childcare options in and around Rutherglen. We saw a very good review for Rise and Shine Childcare and decided to meet with them. We're so thankful that we did. 6 years later and our second child is now saying a sad farewell as she starts nursery.
We could not praise Tricia and Clare more. They are loving, caring and give all their focus to the protection and wellbeing of the children they look after. They constantly look for things to do with the kids and try their best to get them outdoors as often as possible - to parks, the library, playgroups and other events. They also welcome the kids into their home and it is filled with a huge number of safe, educational and fun toys.
Both of our children attended from babies and they have really benefited from doing so. They've grown not only physically (thanks to Tricia's great cooking!) but as little people and we've loved hearing the stories and the interactions with the others kids who attend.
We hope they'll be a part of our lives for years to come. We could not be more grateful for their love for our kids and we would highly recommend them to others looking for the absolute utmost in childcare.

My daughter loves Clare and Tricia and I am really sad that her time with them has come to an end. She has so much fun and always talks with excitement about her time there. Since her very first session, they have completely put me at ease and given me full confidence that my daughter is in safe hands. They provide a really homely and relaxed environment for all the children they look after.

I have recently started sending my 2 year old daughter to Rise and Shine and she LOVES it !! whenever she comes home all i hear is can we go and see claire and trisha . I didn't think i would be able to find a child to accomodate my needs but rise and shine were very helpful and the fees are very reasonable !! if you are looking for childcare i would defo recommend !!
