I am a 32 year old female living in portadown. I have years of experience with children from newborn to 16 years old both paid and voluntary. I have also completed my degree in Liverpool Hope University in Early Childhood Studies and Childhood and Youth Studies where I received a 2:1. My Experience
While in Australia I had a temp nanny job for two weeks with a two year old boy and four year old girl. I would come to their house daily and plan activities such as art and craft or dress up both indoors and outdoors. I was also responsible for taking the children to and from activities such as story-time in the Library. I also worked in a childcare center in Sydney. I was mainly based in the baby or toddler room where my main duties where to plan activities, fed the children, help to teach the children table manners and numbers and colours through everyday activities. While volunteering in a nursery in summer 2013 I helped with the presentation of the children's work, assisted staff members in organising play activities for example Baking or play doh. I completed daily reports on the under 3's and shared these with the parents at the end of each day. I also helped keep the nursery clean and tidy.
My Qualifications
Degree in Early Childhood Studies and Childhood and Youth Studies.
