About Me
Ready Set Grow !
Hello, I’m Emma. I am a registered childminder for my setting Ready Set Grow! I have 14 years childcare experience, working with new born to 13 year olds including twins.
My setting is based on a home from home safe environment for your child/children to grow, learn, be happy and have lots of fun! I plan age appropriate activities around the EYFS, engaging the children to learn through play, their five senses and the great outdoors - enabling children to explore and play with a wide range of materials as well as providing opportunities and encouragement for sharing their thoughts, ideas and feelings through a variety of activities in art, music, movement, dance, role-play, and design and technology.
I am passionate, reliable, confident, outgoing, full of love, fun and active. I encourage healthy eating and love baking. I am happy to provide nutritious balanced snacks, lunch and/or a light tea. I like keeping the children involved with preparation of meals and baking as I believe it encourages them to explore and try new things and it is very rewarding for them, learning new skills.
I live with my husband (Ben) and our two girls who are 6 and 3 years old. The girls are very loving, motherly, love playing and looking forward to meeting new friends.
My passion has always been to work with children.

My 10 month old daughter has started going to Emma, I can’t fault her! She has made my little girl so comfortable, she absolutely loves going there & has settled so quickly. The app she uses is great for updates and pics and Emma’s communication is fantastic. There is a great range of toys and her house is lovely, homely and clean. 1000% recommend her.
